Uncle Ben and Gwen Stacy's deaths were a huge tragedy for Pete. It also helped him become a better person. Should Aunt May's death be tragic and life-changing? Or should it be a peaceful and sorrow death?

Personally, I think it should be tragic since Aunt May had such a huge impact on him. It would be a shame to see her just die off without having any last impact on him.

I think the Death of Aunt May would be tragic, whether it be old age that kills her, or one of Peter's villains. It would definately be a sorrowful event for Pete, but I think I would prefer that she did die peacefully, instead of by a villain.

I agree, either way it will hit Peter hard. Since that is going to happen I'd rather she go in a peacefull manner with Peter at her side instead of it being by an enemy or something of that nature.

No "death" of Aunty May can or could ever beat ASM#400, the best single issue of a Spider-Man book ever.

I thought Aunt May was dead!!!
She died so nice and peacefully in #400.
And Believably

Well, we've seen Aunt May die peacefully, so if she dies "again" it should be something that we havent seen before. I say she dies at the hands of a villain.

It should be quiet and dignified. It's a shame they ruined the potential for this storyline by doing it so well already and then retconning it. Morons.

Aunt May's death WAS tragic. And it was even more tragic how they scrapped it and brought her back.

Now no death she could ever go through will ever be taken seriously, no matter how well it's written.

Must say the question sounds a little weird. I mean, how can a death not be tragic? But I suppose it's gone so far in the world of comics that when someone dies your first reaction is most likely: "Here we go again. I wonder how and when they will bring him/her back" :)

Agreed. I think if they went and killed her again though, it shouldn't be at the hands of a villain. Just let the hag die of old age already.

It definately is a hard question now after #400. Im not too sure about her dieing at the hands of a villian but any other way now would probably seem too similar.

Considering that Aunt May already died and Marvel decided to do what it did best during that time period and second guess themselves.

I mean what jackass at Marvel says, "Wow, what a GREAT issue by J.M. DeMatteis and Mark Bagley. So emotional. Hey, lets retcon it...say it was an actor, and the real Aunt May was being held captive! DeMatteis and Bagley won't mind. They only worked their asses off to make a fantastic issue, lets ruin it!"

I think that to get in a position of power at Marvel you have to have the most illogical thinking process. Logic is forbidden there.

I haven't followed 616 for a long time, but I do rememer Aunt May dying. How did she come back, did the crow bring her back?

Okay, this is complicated, but the real aunt may never died, there was an actress posing as aunt may (i know ******ed) who had been genetically altered by GASP the Green Goblin. She's the one who died GG kidnapped the real Aunt May until Alison Mongrain and Robbie Robertson revealved her location to peter. Peter defeated the GG and his plans for kidnapping Aunt May were never reavealed.

Agreeed.

What kinda of a question... Niether. Aunt May should not die. :(

Peter's not the only one who is ageless...

Of course it should be tragic. Considering how much of an effect she has had on Peter's life, losing her would be a huge blow for Peter. No matter what way she dies, it'll be tragic. She died perfectly in #400, but Marvel crapped on that.

I think it was pretty tragic that she was brought back from the dead.

She ALREADY DIED!!! So you want to kill May AGAIN?! Now that she's "back from the dead" let her be till she dies of old age... again...

Aunt May can't die now anyway. They still have to have her and Jarvis sleep together.

Let's hope that's a scene that never plays out anywhere other than JMS' imagination.
