The Dark Knight Should Bats costume change?

alright first off I'm sorry if there is a thread on this. I used the search engine and couldn't find any threads on this.

Now I'm wondering if you guys think they should or shouldn't change Bats costume for the next movie. Also wondering if you think they are going to change it?

I think they should change it, but the change should be gradual from each movie to the next.

I kind of would like to see something along the lines of this.

umm.....yeah....if it aint broke, dont fix it.

I wouldnt be against some minor tweeks here and there. Like they did with say the Spider-man costume. If something ends up being bigger, smaller, maybe something that aides in the photography? I wont complain but the genearl design should stay the same.

Edit: If a change is made though it should be for cinematic purposes. Not just to change for change sake.

My biggest gripe with the BB suit has been the cowl. I've never liked the odd bend to the ears which serves to make them look more cat-like than bat-like. They should be straightened and lengthened a bit. The mouth opening definitely needs to be expanded a bit. These changes would serve to give Bats a more "classic" look and make him more menacing looking, not to mention a better balanced, more asthetically pleasing appearance.

I wouldn't mind if it did, but my feeling swouldn't be hurt if it wasn't. I mean, if the costume changes its not going to mean the film will have a different look or feel from the first one. That was one of the complaints of the original trilogy...the look never stayed the same. Whether it was Gotham, or the suit. We will have continuity in terms of the look of Gotham, the characters, etc. A little change in the bat-suit wouldn't do anyone any harm.

Aye aye aye! All this gripping and gripping about the cowl + the color of the suit. First of all, there was a new cowl, in case you didn't notice, the cowl is slightley altered @ Bats & Gordan's rooftop meeting at the end, the color change is un-warrented. There is no need to fill up screen time with explanation of why batman needs a dark blue suit.

My biggest problem? The Belt. Theres no way those little bombs fit in those condensed metal "pockets" on the side. I prefer the pouches Jim Lee style. Only problem is, i think that'll look crappy with the "Nomex survival suit". Nevertheless, I'd like to see a better belt. I don't know how, but i'd like to see it given a lil more plausabilty aside from being able to be the harness for the grappling hook.

Despite my fanboy wants and looking at the movie from Nolan's and the filmmaker's POVs. The suit only needs a few minor alterations. Nothing huge or drastic. It looks just fine, just make Batman's jaws a little smoother and not so round.

Don't do any of what Warhammer suggested. Batman should be BIG, dammit. That was the best thing about his appearance in Begins. He was BIG!

EXACTLY! Thats we need, and should really discuss. Cuz honestly, i want an improved one, but for the life of me I can't think of diddle squat that would do it w/o looking like crap next to the kevlar suit.

PS: Mr. Socko, if you look at the end, the mask has a sleeker almost longer look to it, it's subtle, but it's definatly been altered a little bit.
