Should I buy Avengers Disassembled?

I'd buy it, it's an interesting story. What happens to some people sux but that's no reason not to pick it up.

so i was flipping through my issue of Illuminati and when i noticed the cover, i was like "HOLY SHNIP! NAMOR HAS NIPLES!" i said some other stuff, but it'd be too... graphic for some peoples' minds.

it was a very good read. if you are interested then go for it. i loved it.

hell... when hawkeye went boom, caps face was priceless, and real. i consider the best comic sequence i ever read just because i felt what caps face expressed

Really? You should have seen my face during that sequence. It was pure rage, followed by nausea as I ran to the bathroom in disgust.

I was more confused as to why he didn't just take his quiver off.....then I ran to the bathroom in disgust. :(

the quiver was going to explode in a few seconds so leaving it in the middle of a fight his friends where involved in wasn't an option.

I didnt know stop drop and roll didnt work anymore.

Stop, drop, and roll on grenades doesn't work very well.

I'm reading Disassembled now.

The Captain America and Falcon tie in is disappointing, I can't believe they retconned Cappie and Wanda in the same issue!

Yeah, but it does work on a quiver, which is what caught fire.

So, uh...TAKE IT OFF AND THROW IT.

He had multiple quivers on and was surrounded by his friends fighting the bad guys, he is neither that fast or his throwing arm that good.

In the time it took to grab a kree soldier, get the guys rocket pack and yell one-liners he couldve taken off his quiver.

quiverS, yes he probably could have but he couldn't have done anything with them that wouldn't have jepordised his friends in that time.

Excuses, excuses. There was explosions and laser blasts all over the place, it was a badly written scene.

Not the same thing, as well you know. The hawkeye explosion was a LOT larger.

And i'm not the one making excuses here either. :P

Let me ask you, if that was the case, why even bring out a quiver full of explosive arrows? If hes so worried about the explosions hurting his friends? Answer me that. It was a badly written scene.

hah! i forgot that in that single issue, everyone became a hawkeye fanboy!

He didn't bring out quivers that were on fire, thats the difference. I really don't think he was planning on getting shot in the back either. But unfortunately for him it happened so he dealt with it as best the situation allowed.

If he doesn't have the more powerful arrows his uses are rather limited too.

FYI I'm not saying it was a particularly well written scene, the panel transitions were lumpy for one, I'm just bored of the tiresome and wrong arguments of "just take the quiver off".

How are they wrong arguments? A quiver is essentially a backpack, think about how fast you can take off a backpack.
