Actually, most insiders have admitted that PS3's GPU is inferior to the X360's.. and they've also admitted that PS3's core is not meant for gaming. Hell, Steve Jobs even stated that he looked down his nose at the Cell processor in an interview. If the CEO of Apple doesn't like your processor and thinks it's unreasonable.. you have a problem. At that point, who cares about "insiders"?.

Most insiders have also concluded that PS3 graphics will be running on the same lines as the Xbox 360, as well as processing power will be near the same. You need to check your sources, my friend.

Also, if you've looked at any non-PS3 site, or E3 '06 for that matter, most will be hyping upcoming X360 games instead of those PS3 exclusives.

That's only because it had no competition for a 2-year run. It's pretty easy to get a large-ass lead when another console isn't even ANNOUNCED yet to be coming out. PS3 is nothing like the PS2 from the N64 jump. : /

And, I bet you AT LEAST 1/4 of those sells are replacements for all the units that died. X360 may have had glitchy units.. but it mainly fixed that problem much quicker than PS2 and there were a lot less of them with glitches. I can pretty much guarantee PS3's launch will be about the same.

And if it's because the PS3 isn't out yet, then why are you and other people talking it up so much? If the only reason X360 are being hyped is because the PS3 isn't out yet.. does that really make since to proclaim it better when it's not even out yet. In your own words? Or proclaim any system inferior to it?

Actually, there's more CASUAL gamers in the world than company-specific gamers. About 85-90% of gamers in other countries (besides Japan) are casual gamers.. and are not going to look at name brand.. They're going to look at affordability and advantages/disadvantages.

SplinterCell games have bested the MGS series for a while now. SplinterCell: DA looks to be the best one yet, and so far the videos, graphics and the whole lot is better than MGS4.

Look at my last post. It's not that they're loyal, it's the fact that it was the only gaming system that was up-to-date (hardly) for TWO solid years. That's not loyalty, that's called taking advantage of having new hardware and games. And why do they keep buying those games? Because it's more affordable to stay with a game system than switch up.

But, since the next gen systems are going to be largely improved from the PS2 and Xbox, more people will flock to them. And you know what? The casual gamers will flock to the 360 instead of the PS3. Why? Two simple reasons, or maybe one, X360 is a lower price for the same thing as PS3, maybe even better.

And like I said, I bet AT LEAST 1/4 of those PS2 sales are from replacements my friend. Keep talking yourself into a hole. You obviously know nothing of the consumer market.

X360 will never adopt Blu-Ray. Why? Because MS isn't as stupid as Sony is. HD-DVD has actually gotten better side-by-side display reviews from customers than Blu-Ray. Why you would make such a comment is beyond me. MS is trying to make a gaming machine.. not a ****ing DVD player/gaming on the side machine. Unlike Sony with PS3 and what it did with PSP.

The consumer market doesn't lie, neither do consumer trends. X360's GPU is widely known as being superior to the PS3's.. which is a stripped down version of a GPU already out. Do some research you dullard.

Well it mainly depends on what your going to play and what franchises to do you like. The 360 has many games that are exclusive to the system. It is the same way with the PS3. The price on the PS3 is going to be a serious issue. The PS3 is going to have a ton of major franchises on it. Metal Gear Solid 4 is shaping up to be a classic. It won't get released till the end of 2007. Personally I am going with an XBOX 360. I love the Elder Scroll series, Halo, and some other games that are going to be 360 exclusives. I love Sony and in no way disregarding their system. I know its going to rock the world. I'm just kind of worried about Nintendo and if they will survive another round of the next generation systems. One game that is PS3 exclusive that I pray is a great game is the DC Comics online RPG. I believe the Marvel online rpg will be on both the 360 and 360. Unfortuntaley the DC RPG is about 2-3 off unless it gets delayed.

The only reigon where that is definite is in Japan. In NA and Europe, it's difficult to tell which will sell more. The 360 has more appeal in those markets and the high price of the PS3 will certainly have an effect on its sales.
