only if bush apologizes for starting the war in iraq, getting our young men and women killed for nothing..until then..... HELL NO

Yeah, what the hell was Bush thinking? Going over there to rid the world of that no good dicator. Saving a large number of Iraqis from torture and death. Not to mention that he broke all the UN resolutions. And for what? No oil. What was he thinking? Heck, we should of just taken the oil!

I'd rather our troops be over there fighting Alkada (they may not have been there before, but they are now) than Alkada fighting our law enforcement here in the US.

No, but we aren't talking about an average person. A seasoned politician like Kerry knows how seemingly innocent comments can take a life unto their own and have unintended consequences.

That much is his fault. He knows that most Americans appreciate their military and that making comments that can be interpreted to be degrading to the military is a no-go zone.
There wasn't anything degrading though. If you don't work hard and study, you get stuck in ****.

No apologies for those in ****

John Kerry built his career by slandering soldiers.
What was slanderous?

He served his country, returned and joined Vietnam Veterans Against the War.

Limbaugh isn't running for office and it's Limbaugh's job to create controversy.

A politician is dependent upon not creating controversy, at least not for himself.

Like it or not, somethings that shouldn't stick does and things that should stick don't. That's the unpredictable nature of politics.

i don't care if he's in office or not. limbaugh is a prominent face on the conservative scene. he holds a lot of power and when he makes accusations like he did he should be held accountable.

you and other conservatives in this thread are still trying to villify kerry for his remarks even though they weren't intended to offend and he's already apologized for offending anyone. yet you still refuse to acknowledge that limbaugh is wrong for not apologizing to mjf for his obviously hateful accusations. what's up with that?

" And as I said mere moments ago, and I will happily repeat it, I apologize for saying he didn't take his meds. Instead, he took too much medication. But he didn't do this when he went on Boston Legal, and he didn't do this when he was with Tammy Duckworth earlier this week on a public appearance fund-raiser."

I was wrong about how he was faking it?

LOL, **** you, you learn to read.:whatever:

right, and he's already stated he didn't intend it the way it came out and apologized for offending anyone by it, so why won't you cut him a break?

Limbaugh is not an elected official, he is not a leader of the GOP, and he's apologized. So stop your whining.

What percentage of Iraqis did Bush save from death? 1%? .05%??? Probably fewer than have been killed by civil strife since the invasion. :whatever: :whatever: :whatever: :whatever:

What he said, intentions aside, were degrading.

If you can't see how his comments could be read to degrade a significant part of society, it's no wonder that Democrats can't attain power.

but he wasn't being misleading, that's Rush's OPINION, and he didn't APOLOGIZE for it (like you said he did, he merely corrected his stupid mistake about shaking being caused by medication)

so, no, actually.....**** you.

You're so kind and brilliant.

that's a lame-ass apology. he took what mjf said and twisted it again. i saw the interview he's referring to where mjf said that the irony about being accused of being off his meds in that ad is that he actually had too much medication in his system. rush is still trying to claim that mjf purposely took too much medication so that his effects would be exaggerated. that's absolutely not what mjf said. he clearly said that he took his medication as normal and that he has no control over when it kicks in or how much it kicks in. in the case of the campaign ad it just happened to kick in a little too strong and caused the exaggerated motions we saw in that ad. during this same interview his legs were twitching and bouncing up and down uncontrollably and he attributed that to the medication not kicking in enough. he has no control over it and for limbaugh to imply that he purposely over-did the medication is once again an attack on mjf's character. man, rush really is a *****ebag.

no, he built his career off speaking out against an illegal war. he's still doing it, too.

I heard he built his career out his slain father's fortune, which he now uses to fight crime by night and finance a rich playboy facade by day.

I have no concern for Democrats and Republicans. Both parties deserve nothing but mockery.

Again, if someone reads degrading stuff into the comment, then the person who uttered that comment isn't responsible for how another individual interprets it.
