Should Nick Fury make an appearance?

Hell yes!!!!! In TIH he'd likely be conferring with General Ross about evacuating Manhattan as the Hulk & Abomination are headed that way for a fight. Or something like that. Maybe calling out some mandroids to try and stop the fight before the city is leveled.

Just because they're using SamJack as Fury doesn't mean they're going to be using all the Ultimate characteristics and personality of the character.

And adding SamJack as Fury doesn't automatically make it an Ultimate movie.

no tie in yet, but geting the public ready for avenger somehow...

(I always keep in mind that we will more likely get an avenger story that will somehow be mixed with the Ultimate.... so Fury/jackson is a good way to introduce that).....

And it annoys me how people assume that since Samuel L. Jackson is playing Nick Fury, that means whatever movie he's in must be the Ultimate version or whatever. I'm sorry, but none of these movies are taken straight from the pages of ANY of the comics. The movie is a seperate work, and an amalgam of many different elements from throughout the character's history. Notice that, despite using the young, skinny "Eddie Brock Jr." it was called "Spider-Man 3" and not "Ultimate Spider-Man."
