Should Spider-Man 3 be the last in the series?

The other two made tons of money, so that had a good word of mouth. Spider-man alone is a box office draw. There is no reason why this movie will fail financially.

Me neither. If you know what I mean when I type "spiderman" then I don't see anything wrong with avoiding all the shift + this and that for speed reasons. What's so great about the hyphen anyway? I think it's only for copyright purposes. Superman doesn't have that crap.

I chose "I don't know..." 'cause I don't want the spider-man franchise to have the same fate that the superman franchise had. And... "3" is a cool figure Don't you think that a "Spider-Man Trilogy" would be nice?? And then maybe in 10 or 15 years, they can do another 3 movies... with totally different actors... no.. that sucks... ^ Just relax I think the SM30 was more of a joke and you won't likely be alive for a Spiderman 20 let alone a Spiderman 30. The point is the franchise will survive for generations and it's ridiculous to believe this franchise will last for only 3 films. It's just dumb on many levels.

Best of the Marvel movies, this series must go on. So much more to be done. I don't mind Venom being in 3 but I think he should have been in 4, maybe he'll lead into 4 though.

Still need the Lizard. 4 for sure for him, I think. Conners has been seen enough, maybe Sam's teasing with him, making fans wait and then in part four the Lizard strikes!

I'm on the fence with this issue. I love Spider-man and will always go to see the movies but I think if they make anymore after the 3rd it will start to go sour. After this one everyone who put these 3 together will leave and it just wouldn't be the same. But If they make it I will come.

There's really no point here because Spider-Man is a franchise that will be around well beyond all of our years in some form another. Wait till the 3d films get hi-tech and passable for real feature films. Imagine Spider-Man in real 3d. The movies we're seeing now will seem prehistoric in 20 years and there's always a new generation of kids growing up who will say Tobey who? Who's Hugh Jackman? Christian Bale...never heard of him. That's just the facts. The world doesn't revolve around our generation so don't think we're so special that things are only new to us and nobody else.

None of these have any bearing on the other. If Wolverine jumps off a cliff to his death, does that mean Spider-Man has to as well?

Part 4 seems to be a good number to wrap up THIS spiderman franchise..But that doesnt mean they should stop forever..

So long as they keep grossing high numbers... Spider-Man will go on... and even if it doesn't.. it will be re-vamped 10 years later anyway. It's just good business, squeeze it until there's nothing left.. then after it's been gone a while, squeeze it some more.
