Ok I had this incident last night. My neighbor left her kids home alone at work. Sometimes she ask me watch her kids when she works the noc shift since I only work pm's. It was around 1 Am when I got a doorbell and open door it was another neighbor who found one of my neighbor kids who has been alone and cry for 10 mins in the cold night. Somehome he figure to open door to his own door. he's only 4 I believe with his with brother but the other brother stayed asleep. I took both kids into my apartment and they slept in my bed while I sleep in the couch. When the mourning the mom knocked on my door and she asked if I had the kids and I said yes. I didnt tell her about the incident because I wasnt sure what to do. I just told her I heard one of them crying last night and I just took to my apartment for them to sleep. She was kool with it, not if you are in my position what would you do? Let this thing go? Call the cops or do something else?

I wouldn't really know. If you think the women in deliberately neglecting her children, then you should do something.

But if it was just a one off, well it isn't really any of your business.

I just felt bad for the kid he was all scared and crying. I told her she can just leave the kids in my place if she's working.

Ill assume shes a single mother, and thats a tricky situation, dont really know what to tell you.

This is a decent solution, but be very careful with it. Let's not fool ourselves, single men babysitting young children can get in some serious trouble should rumors start to fly

I would call the cops on you, stinkin' pedophile :cmad:

don't call the cops call social services or something, cops don't need to be involved unless there is some abuse going on, but a single mother who leaves her kids alone all day and asks you to watch them, thats not your responsibility unless you want it to be, I'd feel bad, I wouldn't ask her for money if she's already struggling she can't afford it....maybe you could go on a date with her, win her kids over, marry her and help raise her kids, maybe have some of your own and live happily ever after...then write a memoir about it through some small publishing company, the book then becomes a hit and it'll get picked up by Disney, the feature film will be made after years of fighting over the copywrites and creative differences with the studio...it eventually is picked up and produced by WB's and becomes the biggest flop of the year...but atleast you gave it your best shot...or you call the cops on her. Your choice buddy.

What I think is at this moment you're lucky that the mother didn't call the cops to get you...:o

dont get the cops involved. talk to the mom first before you do anything to hurt the family. have a nice civilized conversation with the parent on arranging babysitting time(if you don't mind, doing such a thing). this is a really tough situation, but i suggest you beadult about it and have a talk with the mother, before you do anything.

Hahahahahahaha:wow:

Personally,i would let this incident go.Keep in mind it could just be a coinsidence,if this happens again.Ask the children if things like this happen to them often,if they say yes. Then you should consider telling the police or someone you can trust.

you cant just tell him to let it go. thats a horrible suggestion. talk to the mom about it first instead of going behind her back about the situation.

There was this guy that used to watch me when I was a little kid. He used to watch me do everything. :(

Would his name happen to be Michael?

And, who has a guy babysitter? Chicks are the way to go!

this lady in my apt complex had me watch her 12 and 10yr old sons while she went out on a date (total milf btw)...it was only for a few hours they played my xbox and watched Sinbad (Pitt, Zeta-Jones)...while I counted the minutes. Did you ever think that guys who might do that sorta thing are trying to win points to later on maybe have a chance with the mom;) Not everything is as perverted as you all make it out to be ya herpes. Besides the point of this thread wasn't to attack the N.A.M.B.A (National Association for Male Babysitters) It was to tell this dude to either yes...get the police, or no, try going to someone other than the cops to get this lady and her kids some help with her children.
