Should There Be A LGBT Lounge

I wouldn't have a problem with it at all, but you have to ask "At what point does it stop? What special interest or lifestyle groups get their own 'Lounge' and which one's don't?" Personally, I don't want to see two hundred different "Lounges" tangling up the Community forum. I think you lose a certain amount of integration and sharing of perhaps uncommon viewpoints and ideals thereby offering up learning experiences and interesting exchanges that would otherwise not happen were everyone segregated to their little sub-culture groups and spending more time in those sections rather than interacting together in general as they do now. Just food for thought.

I feel the soul-glo thing was a good idea because talking about some black issues, people suddenly get backlash, and I didn't want that. Every other lounge is just every clique on here talking amongst themselves, like high school.

It is silly to have a lounge for sexual oreintation. If there is a LGBT Lounge, then there should be a Straight Lounge, and while we are at it, a White Lounge, and a Black lounge and then we could have a Lounge for people that are half asian and half something else. As a Halfy, I think I deserve a Lounge so all of us Halfies can discuss topics that are relevant just for Halfies.
