I wouldn't have a problem with it at all, but you have to ask "At what point does it stop? What special interest or lifestyle groups get their own 'Lounge' and which one's don't?" Personally, I don't want to see two hundred different "Lounges" tangling up the Community forum. I think you lose a certain amount of integration and sharing of perhaps uncommon viewpoints and ideals thereby offering up learning experiences and interesting exchanges that would otherwise not happen were everyone segregated to their little sub-culture groups and spending more time in those sections rather than interacting together in general as they do now. Just food for thought.
