You don't understand what I said. They would buy the rights to Superman (that DC doesn't own). Then they would publish their own version of the character (to maintain the rghts). That way, it would muck up any DC/WB attempts at restarting Superman. This is just like DC's Captain Marvel not being able to be featured in a comic of the same name.

Someone made the suggestion of Armie Hammer as Captain Marvel the other day on another thread. Personally, I think that is one excellent suggestion. Hammer's a good actor, great face and voice, 6'5'' or so.
