I hate being stuck with Angs origin. Why is Marvel making us stay with this origin. They admitt Lee's movie was a failure?

waste of time, just move the f**k on.

Well what about the Abombinations? Now both are almost the same.

but they are almost the same now.

Abomi's origin, in the comics he does that to himself on purpose, Bruce doesnt. There have been alot of people in the Hulk's comicbook who have become huge gama powered monsters that way.

Well they aren't... it doesn't really matter what are opinions are at this point.

We know they aren't but I wanted to know how everybody felt. I think there are too many Lee fans here to get a balanced view.

lol.. thats really ******ed, how the hell would it be a balanced view if you only had people who hated the first movie in the poll?

If 90% here liked the Lee fim then of course they liked the origin! DUH!

... wtf?... so you got what you wanted, what everyone here thinks. I could say the exact same thing if 90% of the people voted "yes".

Gamma radiation was involved. The bombardment wasn't intentional. It involved Bruce trying to save someone else. The elements are already adapted. Copy-paste everyone's basic response of "let's move on". The first film had enough of an extrapolated origin for the audience. People aren't familiar with the Abomination's origin. Let's move on to showcasing what's not known or hazy in the books than wasting time rehashing the same thing.

ABSOLUTELY! Which is why i hate that this is more of a sequel, than it is a reboot...no Gamma Bomb!

Hell No! Make This Like Burtons Batman And Just Pick Up In The Middle Of Da Action!

Well i just meant that they should show the explosion is a flashback like they did in the 90's animtaed series.

no need to re-do

get a move on and show us what's happening next....

I don't think so just because it's still too close in terms of years to Ang's film. Further confusion with this movie would not be a smart idea, and please believe some people would be confused. You really can't give the general movie audience too much credit when speaking about common sense. Besides that, I don't see it as all that important especially if they're concerned with more action and less drama...

No. What's done is done. Its much better if they simply move on and explore a different storyline.

Not right now, but at some point in the future I want a Batman Begins type retelling of the origin that is more faithful(gamma bomb/yes, rick jones/yes, nanomeds/no, bruce is a physicist not a biologist/yes, & father son relationship sans absorbing dad/yes). This could wait another 10 years or so though. For now just go with the program already in progress. I don't know why Ang thought nukes are no longer relevant to society. As long as they exist, they'll be a concern. The gamma bomb could have been reimagined to be a new version of nuke that Banner came up with, that while more powerful in it's explosiveness, had rediation that dissapated in days rather than decades or centuries like other nukes, thereby eliminating one of the worst effects/greatest fears of nuclear weapons: the fallout, rather than the initial explosion. The Gamma bomb project could have been an effort by the gov't to try and at least make the threat of nuclear war a little less menacing. That's how I thought they could update the 60's nuclear tests to modern day(since we don't do tests outside of a computer anymore).

I got your back Norm. I think they should reflect on his origin via a re-occurring nightmare he has showing it (gamma bomb) with no dialogue but in flash sequences. Alot of Lee fans seem satified with the sucky origin they filmed in 2003.

waste of time, just move the f**k on.
Why the hostility? Rather than answering the question with the response we usually get from you, you cussed a view. We by now know there is a vast fan base spilt, so why get frustrated? Appreciate what you have and allow some to anticipate a new beginning.

No need to get really extensive on the origin thing, just recall it via a dream/nightmare making the reference to the gamma bomb and not some lab experiment involving a frog, lol. Once again, nothing long. Flash sequences would work. No one has to swallow the "lets move on" crap. Everyones entitled to voice their opinions w/o ridicule or harsh responses.

Well done. I believe this could been done the first time. I agree emphatically.
