Absolutely. Its a mean mother of a yoke. But there's nothing to say he can't have more than one batmobile, as in Jim Lee's Batcaves.

I like it alot but I don't think Batman would use it at this point. The Tumbler IMO is necessary in great part to help him evade the police. Once Gordon becomes Commissioner and are instructed to no longer pursuit Batman, then I think driving a vehicle of this sort makes more sense.

i agree.. but lets face it..its the Batmobile.. no poilce car on earth is going to catch that thing.. and because its the Batmobile.. gadgets galore anyway.

I'd like a scene like in Monster Men. Shows Alfred the new car, Alfred starts to take the mickey about putting fins on and making it a 'Batmobile'. but to Bruce taking the advice seriously. Sweet.
But keep the tumbler also. It rocks.

Honestly I just want a sleaker front. If they could just modify the car in a way where you can still tell its the tumbler but just improved that would be great.

Some people on this site really are dumb at times. The tumbler is not a tank and infact it's relativley small. First and foremost it is a STEALTH vehicle, thus negating the need for something sleeker, and as i have read on this board, more stealthy.

People are too obsessed with aesthetics. Who gives a **** if it looks classy or sleek, Batman sure wouldn't. What is the use for fins or a smooth shell? It is all angular and 'boxy' because that is what stealth vehicles, be them cars, boats or planes, look like.

That said i accept the notion that everything is a prototype and that the suit, cave and possibly the tumbler will be modified. But mofified for functionaibility, not to appease a fanboys desire for Batman to look sexy.

Keep in mind its not like bruce had a whole lotta say in the style and make of the vehicle. All he could do in the time permitted was make it black. Keep in mind what happened in begins. Bruce sure as hell wasnt stealth with the thing. He tore up the city getting through, something sleeker would be able to pass and have cause less attention.

I dont care what people say the tumbler isnt a batmobile IMO its based on TDKR TANK i hear some of you say fins or make it a little sleecker up front, some of you love BB so much you cant accept the tumbler doesnt fit the batman character. Admit it the batmobile in BTAS and the burton films look better and are more faithful to the original comics a virtue you all seem to covert so much and your main reason for loving BB.

The Tumbler was awesome. But I wouldn't complain if they went with the Batmobile (similar to the one in the burton films) for The Dark Knight.

Now thats what would count as a mistake. The tumbler is perfect and anyone who say otherwise should ran over with it.

now someone will say that the tumbler is nto from the comics. it goes against everything.

Calm down man, BTAS Batmobile will never be recreated for TDK because that's something Bruce Timm & Co or same with Tim Burton & Co why Nolan take their design pass on as if his own design. I like to see Batman keep the Tumbler or I like to see Nolan come up with his own creation for Batman to use as vehicle.
