By that I mean Ghostface Killah? Being that he goes by the names Tony Starks, Pretty Toney, Brother Starks, and Ironman. Plus his first album is called "Ironman". He helped make Ironman cool to alot of blacks and latinos who don't know anything about him.

This is a joke right?

um...

Well, why the hell not. If Marvel can get past the pseudo-copyright infringement based on the positives you mentioned... I can imagine him and Ozzy teaming for a 2008 version of Sabbath's "Iron Man" for the soundtrack. Works for me. I'm just remembering the Ozzy mashup on the South Park: Chef Aid album being worth the price of the disc alone.

I just thought it'd be a cool idea. Ghost Rider droped the ball by not including Method Man imo. Since he goes by the GR or Johnny Blaze (Which started the clothing line that alot of people bought)

The intro to his second album is actually the intro to the 60's Iron Man cartoon show. Heres just a couple of lines were he's shouting out his favorite hero.

"Why is the Sky Blue? Why is the Water Water? Why did Judas rat to Romans while Jesus Slept? Iron Man sips rum from Stan Lee Cups"

"Who's the hottest in New York City? IRON MAN! The World can't touch Ghost Tony Starks!"

"Doctor Kanabuta, Iron Man, he is invincible.
His remarkable armor is supreme!"

so THATS where that misspelling of iron mans family namei've seen on the hype comes from

I wouldn't mind having Jim Rhodes listening to some ghostface in the background whilst he's fixing something.

Also, I own every album the wally champ has ever made. Supreme Clientelle is his best album by far. Swim stark sharks!

They definitely could throw in something like an easter egg..

I was actually offended over this on Marvel's behalf some years back, when Ghostface Killah came with his first album. Now I don't really care.

Sure.. why not? Would be suitable to have this as an easter egg.

Edit:
Checked some facts.
- Ghostface Killas "Ironman" came out in 1996, and was by the looks of it a good album in that genre. Never listened to him then, but I have picked up some Wu-Tang albums since then, and they are really great, specially the early ones.
- Marvel's Ironman went through "Heroes Reborn" in 1996, wich in my opinion was bad comic.
So in terms of a "competition" between Tony Stark and "Tony Starks", I'd say Ghost wins this one.

sure why not. But then I guess next people are gonna be asking for MF Doom to be in the fantastic four movie.

I don't want that ****** anywhere's near a comic book film. Ghostface. LMFAO

You know news is slow when people are actually seriously discussing this.

Ghostface isn't a ******. In fact he's one of the most educated and knowledgable artists in the music industry :o . Easily one of the best east coast rappers alive and is, consistently puts out great albums.

Its got nothing to do with news being slow, it was an eventuality. I remember back in '96 when I fist heard his album, ironman and thought it'd be great if he was somehow involved with an actual ironman movie.

It's rappers like ghostface that actually popularized comics, namely Marvel comics amongst the hiphop community. So, expect the majority of ghostface fans in which there are many to go see Bobby Jr fly around in ol' shell head's costume.

That's right

and right again.

I think it's a great idea. He'd definitely love to do it and it'dadd alot of appeal to the movie. It just seems kinda natural and right. the guy named himself after Stark and drops Iron Man all the time in lyrics, there should be some two-way respect there.

I just find it dumb that because Ghost is a rapper, people want to dismiss him having any involvment with this movie. People like Ghost are real fans of comics, quoting lines from comics and switching it up with lyrical prowess that are so profound, they go over people's heads. People should check out, the hillarious classic, the forest from his bullet proof wallets album to see how good he is with cartoon character references.

I don't see why him being a fan means he should be in any way part of this movie, no matter how he makes a living.

No, not that i don't like the music but i'd rather they have a cameo from another Marvel hero/character.
