Basically, this user on Wikipedia just reported and got me blocked for 31 hours for apparent edit warring over a template that I made in regards to the CW. The issue at hand stems from me incorporating articles relating to the networks that proceeded the CW, UPN and the WB. When the administrator blocked me, anyway he tried to twist my words around. It was pretty much they're word against mine.

I was trying to claim that since UPN and WB are in essence, early versions of the CW (therefore, their respective programs and affiliates are by default, also those of the CW's retroactively) they should be incorporated in a template for the CW. He seems to want me to believe that the CW is really a separate entity from UPN and the WB.

I was just about putting every considerably key article in relation to the two networks like programming and affiliate lists and what not. It's been changed several times from what I originally desired the template to be. It got to a point where I just said screw it, I'll just make separate templates for the WB and UPN to get certain people out of my hair.

I saw the WB and UPN as TOTALLY different before the Merger and if your going to use Quality as a measure or difference you can just look at the line up that The WB had and the line up that UPN had. The CW is a product of those two merging and in doing so created something that the other two were not at first so I think I'll side with the Admin on this, sorry guy.

CW is basically the same thing as The WB. Maybe if CW had more shows STARRING minorities then I could see some reflections of UPN.

Because they are different, thus the different names. TheWB had 6days of programing, a comedy block and a lot of different shows. Same with UPN.

I miss the WB, I miss UPN. I viewed them as completely different things. I remember UPN had Andromeda and ST: Voyager while WB had....WB stuff(I mostly watched cartoons on Kids WB). :p

The CW IMO isn't really much like either network at all. Smallville is the only show I can think of from the WB days, I don't remember much of either network's programming other than the kids blocks seeing how I was a kid then.

WB and CW are same thing. They both rely on teen dramas. The WB had Dawson's Creek. The CW has Gossip Girl. The WB had Buffy. The CW has Vampire Diaries. Same s--t either way you look at it. UPN was the network that was lost in the merger.

WB canceled Angel, CW canceled Veronica Mars. Most all there other shows are crap. No matter what it is called, it still sucks badly.

Oh, its been a while....:O

This season, CW has made some improvements. Nikita and Hellcats are quite the guilty pleasures.

TheWB was more diverse than TheCW. TheCW wants to be TheWB though.

The CW =/= The WB

UPN was nothing like the CW. I'd say The CW's much closer to The WB than UPN. One illustration of the difference - just watch the UPN version of Veronica Mars vs. The CW version. It's like night and day, really. *still bitter*
