Shows that never "caught on" but you loved regardless

Jake 2.0: It was a pretty good show, sort of a "6 Million Dollar Man" type show for the 21st Century. And I loved The 6 Million Dollar Man when I was a kid.

I really liked Studio 60...with Matthew Perry...

Drive- Poor Nathan Fillion :(

Journeyman

I'd like to say Arrested Development, but I think it caught on in some ways and plus it had closure.

Now and Again
Journeyman
The Dresden Files
M.A.N.T.I.S.

All great shows, cancelled before their time was up...

As did I.

It was great to see Lee Majors cameo in Jake 2.0 too; even if he wasnt playing Steve Austin.

Unlucky; He played an over the hill agent that Jake has to work with.

Worth tracking down and watching it if you can.

I used to really like Picket Fences but by the end it was getting a little too crazy (which is saying a lot) from what I can remember.

The only reality TV show I would like to see another season of is "Murder in Small Town X". It was amusing to see each contestant being "killed" off at the end.

i think jakes only season is on dvd

I'll keep an eye out for it.

A little off topic here, but I've been trying to edit my profile and ad an avatar. I can't seem to do anything with my avatar (or lack there of), only my personal information. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

If I recall, you have to get over 500 posts before you can get to have an avvy.

The avvy size you are allowed to have then increases in proportion to your post count - so get postin' dude!!!

:D

Then it looks like I'm about halfway there. Thanks.

I resent small town High School football players, so I was already prejudiced against it.

I'm just not much of a football fan period. I tried watching a few episodes, just couldn't get into it.

Wrestling Reality

For those of you who've never seen it, it was a reality show on The Fight Network. It was a behind the scenes look at the world of pro wrestling. It was shown in 3 parts. Part 1 was a behind the scenes look at one particular show. Part 2 was interviews with the stars. Then part 3 was the final product, the show as seen by the fans. The reason it only lasted one season is they only had about 13 episodes or so, but instead of showing it every Tuesday like they advertised they showed it every weekday. So they ended up blowing their wad in just over two weeks. If it had been shown just once a week like originally advertised people wouldn't have been bored with it after a month.
