And Norman Osborn is better than Luther anyway. Well IMO he is. I've never been able to take Lex seriously.
No one ever said it was out of continuity at the time it was written. It was one of those stories that could have taken place at some point in the early years of Supes showing up.And Norman Osborn is better than Luther anyway. Well IMO he is. I've never been able to take Lex seriously.

With DC these days, what is in continuity anymore? No one ever said it was out of continuity at the time it was written. It was one of those stories that could have taken place at some point in the early years of Supes showing up.
But I get your point. The Brainiac 13 stuff was pretty good as well. Truth be told, Luthor was great throughout the late 90's/early 2000's with the president Luthor stuff. It wasn't until Leob ruined it that the character's fallen on such hard times. Look at it this way. Most of the best Superman stories are out of continuity, same could be said for Luthor. My personal favorite Lex was Millar's in Red Son. That's how Lex should be.

I've never been able to take Norman seriously, myself. And Norman Osborn is better than Luther anyway. Well IMO he is. I've never been able to take Lex seriously.

Maybe I'll pick it up someday. Doubtful, though. Besides Ellis' involvement, I'm just not interested in any of the characters besides Songbird and maybe the Radioactive Man, plus it's from like a year ago now and I know exactly where all of the plot threads lead to, so it's largely irrelevant anyway.
