Not saying I agree with all of that - but those are some more general complaints being lobbed around.

10. As far as Tim Story directing...yes that is one I could have put up there, BUT many believe the first movie not to truly be his movie...I'm one of those.....so thats where my Fox in general comes from....

I've seen a fair amount of complaining about SS being in this film - although it's mostly from people who didn't like FF 1 and think FF 2 will screw up SS and that he deserves his own film instead.

Alba deff, A-list, she's freaking everywhere.

Oh and the rest of the cast is well known. Except for Gruffudd, i fell on the floor laughing when i realized he was the guy from 102 Dalmations, i think he's good but that was still funny.

Both FF1 and X3 cost more than many block-busters by other studios do, so I wouldn't call them cheap.
I would however (on viewing the final results) question just what they manage to spend so much money on.

visual effects. that's all these movies are really good visual effects. All story is lost behind that.

Again, these aren't charges that I'm making. I was just relaying some of the complaints I've heard for the list that was being put together.

My list was compiled out of sarcasm more than anything else.....most of those complaints I do not share....and I have hope that the sequel will be much better than the first. My complaint really is in the editing, and as of right now I haven't seen Hoy on any list....as far as the SS, I don't really care how he is done as long as it is done well, and he does not overshadow the real heros of this movie the 4 themselves. So really as far as I'm concerned, my complaints run more from sarcasm, because I am one that waits and makes my final decision after I've seen the actual movie. If they fix the editing, and focus on the 4...I have a feeling I'll be a happy camper...

I thought the editor of FF 1 was coming back for FF 2. Pretty sure I read that on a thread recently.

The only ones I have seen so far are the producers, director, actors, special effect technician and production manager as far as the same....maybe Frost along with the other 2 writers....

As far as others, there has been multiple changes...and Hoy has not been mentioned....not on any thread around here, and he's not on any cast/crew lists either...BUT then again, there is no editor yet on any cast/crew list....

Hoy at the moment is the editor for "300"....but there is no mention of F4 2 and I hope it stays that way...

All CGI isnt the best option and it isnt necessary either. A CGI effect over the top of an actor in an appropriate suit will do the job just fine (the best CGI effects are when real footage is adapted rather than completely made on computer, like how they did the Torch's effects in FF1).

I'm also wondering now if they are gonna go with a satin metallic look like this:

or a shiny reflective silver look:

I know the latter is more accurate to how the books intend him to look, but I do think the former does look a little better and might work better on screen.

On another note, Tim Story has debunked the Vin Diesel as Surfer connection, but has he mentioned anything about Laurence Fishburne's possible interest? A CGI Surfer might just be the way which would allow Fishburne to play the role of his favourite character.

I didn't know he was interested. Voicewise, he'd probably be at the top of my list of names I've heard suggested so far.

Keith David what a voice, Goliath and Spawn... Fishburne as the Surfer would rock. I can see it now though, one off issues and minis about the Silver Surfer in the Matrix.

I've always been a huge Surfer fan and I'm not really opposed to seeing a CGI SS. I'll hold off on any comments until I see it. I've always liked Chow Yun Fan for the Surfer. Bald head aside I like his bold yet kind voice and halted English. Just please do this character justice!!!
