However, it is a classic classic, as it's the only book aside from religious text to never ever stop printing. And that it's required reading in the college level. (In America at least, mid school level here in Europe.)
I think most proffesional writers would know the story of the Golem. It's a classic of its genre which is Gothic Horror as stated, it's not a piece of Classical literature. Again you try an argue against something which has a factual definition.
