Simpsons vs. Family Guy

Ugly Americans is pretty good. Still pretty new, but I think it could give The Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy and American Dad a run for their money.

American Dad is decent but I've found Cleveland just sad. I thought it was funny initially but it just hasn't kept up. American Dad I think is better than Family Guy right now but it also feels it has slipped in quality to which I blame Cleveland splitting the creativity into three shows.

At the moment family guy. Its humour is cheap as hell but it can usually squeeze a chuckle out of me. Simpson's nowadays..... yeesh. Its like watching paint dry. However Simpson's in its prime is amazing and wipes the floor with any animated comedy show.

South park is the most overrated television programme ever to grace the silver screen. I've watched a couple of episodes and the film and didn't laugh once.

I don't think Cleveland Show ever made much sence, the character wasn't very famous, he was very forgetable in Family Guy, I would sincerelly prefer a Stewey and Brian Show, but theire the lights of Family Guy, but even Brian is starting to get annoying because i can see Mc Farlane using him to express his opinions, like when Brian made Meg, a girl that finally found confort in religion, forget that, i'm not christian but considering the treatment they give to her, taking her the only thing that made her happy wasn't very good.

And that's such a shame. The Simpsons at it height was possibly the best. Just watched the episode of the simpsons with The Leader (the whole cult) and mr burns wanting to create his own religion 'We'll use this 'special K'

Does anybody know if Mac Farlane works much for American Dad?
Because i think that the fact that he prefers working with Family Guy and Cleveland Show are the reasons why American Dad has been better

Yes but I was talking about Fox shows that I watched. I have never nor will ever watch Cleveland. Again...watched Simpsons then it sucked. Watched Family Guy then it sucked. Now I watch American Dad. Will never watch Cleveland.

4: American Dad
5: Family Guy

I give up on the Cleveland show after two episodes. I haven't watched enough episodes of Ugly Americans to get a good feel for the show, so far I'm three episodes in and it has been ok but nothing more than that.

He voices Stan and Roger, is a producer and that is it as far as I know. Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman (Family Guy writers from first three seasons) are the head writers of American Dad, they took control when Family Guy was renewed.

That explains why Family Guy lost some quality while Family Guy is still funny (it won't last forever but still)

Even in both their primes, the Simpsons was always a superior show. Even now that it has become a zombie franchise, the Simpsons is still superior to Family Guy.

While Family Guy in its prime was as good, if not better than American Dad, American Dad is definitely the better show now. It's had pretty consistent quality. The Cleveland show is just dreadful.

I agree Simpsons lost it's touch like around the 13th season, but the prior seasons it could/will not be beat.
