Sequels Sinister Six in ASM3

^ Totally agree that not every villain has to be, nor should be some cross species thing.

Vulture is definitely one of the characters that could be an apparatus/invention.

But I think the main point is that it seems that what Webb, and just about every director likes to do, is show the general audience the how and why of the characters, especially the villains.

For example:

- We already have an idea of Osborn's issue and will see his transformation.

- We were shown Connor's issue and his transformation.

- We will see Max Dillon's issue and will see his transformation.

- We will see Aleskei's issue and will see his transformation.

The point is that the general audience needs to see, especially for characters that have "powers", how they got them...

In regard to say Catwoman, she doesn't really have "powers". Same for Bane (though we did see why he had to wear that mask.

Black Cat is one of the few that might be, similar to Catwoman, shown as just a thief hired that doesn't have powers. Now we know that the comic character has the ability to affect someone's luck, but I don;t expect that will be shown.

So the point is that we have to expect that the Vulture origin (issue and transformation) will be shown so the general audience understands. Could it be shown that this guy Toomes invented this flying harness 10 years ago and caused Peter's parents plane to go down? Sure it's possible, and in many ways that would be the origin story being shown to the general audience.

But for some reason I just feel that Webb will create the Vulture in the today timeline in front of the general audience eyes. His main "issue" will likely be age/retirement/etc.

I think the biggest difference with Mysterio is that he likely can't be tied to Oscorp, so he'd need a totally different, and detailed back story. That probably won't happen.

yeah i have no clue what mysterios back story could be and/or how it would tie into oscorp

Do what the 90's series did and have Beck plant actual explosions during his movie set for realistic danger. Have Spidey swoop in and save the day, ruin his career. Yady yady yaddah...

ohhhh i remember that episode didnt like it that much and how would the action even play out with him

Hello this is my first post here on the forum. I have pretty much only read Ultimate Spiderman because by the time I was old enough to really understand comics Amazing was already so far ahead. Although I have started to read Superior. Anyway, here are my thoughts on how the Goblin arc should go, introducing Toomes as the Vulture and Doc Ock into the universe, and possibly establishing the Sinister Six.

TASM2:

Villains: Rhino(minor), Electro (major), Green Goblin(climax/after credits scene), Adrien Toomes (introduced),

Story: During the course of the film we are introduced to Adrien Toomes, the director of Ravencroft who has a Commissioner Gordon type of personality. He has been a good man all of his life and has devoted himself to keeping the bad guys in prison so after a long life as an officer, he built Ravencroft from the ground up. However, much of his precious Ravencroft's funding comes from Oscorp. So he does what he can with his organization despite having to "look the other way" sometimes when it comes to Oscorp (much to his dislike)and he wants nothing more than to investigate the rich and powerful Norman Osborn because he is sure that he's up to no good. However desperate to keep Ravencroft alive he keeps telling himself that "I'm doing more good than evil" and continues to look the other way when told.

So Rhino is put in Ravencroft after his fight with Spider-Man so stuff happens and

Climax: So in the midst of the Electro and Spidey final battle, we see that Norman has perfected the formula (let's call it Oz) and is now using it on himself. He transforms and breaks out of the cage and leaps onto his glider. He arrives at the scene of the final battle hoping to end Spider-Man while he is weak but the battle is over by the time he arrives and Norman witnesses Electro's defeat and he hears that Ravencroft is on their way. Goblin flees.

After Credits Scene: We see Norman Osborn sitting calmly going through pictures of Spiderman and says something along the lines of "Today Spider-Man...Today is a day for celebration. Let today be day for laughter and a day for love. Because tomorrow Peter Parker... tomorrow is mine." End of TASM2

TASM3:

Villains: Vulture(Minor), Green Goblin (Major), Otto Octavious (Introduced), Jean deWolff

Story: We see Peter enjoying life as a college freshman after Electro. He has Gwen, a great friendship with Harry, and has even made a new friend ( Marry Jane) .Electro is at Ravencroft and a Dr. Otto Octavious (jokingly called Dr Octopus by his co-workers is working on a way to cure him using his "smart arms" (that don't conduct an electric current) to keep his distance. However, Peter's only problem is that a gang of pumpkin mask-wearing thugs have taken over New York's crime circuit and Oscorp is their main target. Norman is using these gangs to get him enough Oz for a lifetime so that he can take from his own company without any suspicion. Not to mention that the NYPD now led by newly appointed Police Captain Jean deWolff aren't really doing much to stop the gang violence.

Our first fight scene would be Spidey vs. just a "handful" of the gang (about 20-30 armed members) and at the very end, the cops and Captain deWolff show up. An exhausted Spider-man and deWolff have an argument.

Ex: "What's with you guys? It seems like I'm the only one trying to stop these creeps lately!"
"Spider-man, I assure you we're doing everything we can."
blah blah blah, argue, argue, argue and Spider-man swings off annoyed and determined to stop the new crime boss.

Somewhere in the film we see that Toomes has figured out the Osborn himself is the crime lord behind the gang and the Oscorp robberies and confronts him. They have a conversation kind of like this:

"Mr. Osborn."

"Yes Toomes."

"I know what you've been doing and it isn't right."

"Oh really? You're telling me that you've finally grown a spine after all of these years? Now why don't you just forget about that and run along and play warden before I cut your funding. Speaking of which, I may be the only one funding you now. Especially since you've been awfully dependant on Spider-Man to catch the super-criminals."

"I don't care! Cut the funding. I'm turning you in to the police."

Norman laughs
"Toomes, you honestly don't think that I've already taken care of the police?"

"You...You're a monster."

"Oh come now Toomes, you and I aren't so different. We're just different kinds of monsters. I'm the big green monster under your bed and you... you're the old vulture preying on the weak, defenceless, and dying. Never attacking those of power and just arresting those who don't fund your precious Ravencroft!"

Toomes sees the insane look in Norman's eyes and backs off. However, the next day he finds that he is a wanted man and has been fired from Ravencroft because he was framed for a crime and the new director of Ravencroft is Otto Octavious. Knowing that this is Osborn's doing he breaks into Ravencroft, steals an experimental flight suit and prepares to assault Oscorp tower and kill Norman Osborn.

It just so happens that Peter (continuing his investigation into the mysterious crime boss) is in the vicinity of Oscorp when Vulture attacks. He sees Vulture attacking Osborn's office and assumes that he is the crime boss. Vulture and Spider-Man get into a heated battle as they destroy most of the top floor of Oscorp. (Gwen works in a lower floor and escapes the building) Meanwhile, Norman goes off screen. We go back to the fight and here we see that Vulture is quite the opponent and gives Peter a very hard battle. During the battle as the two exchange words, it is revealed that Toomes also wants to kill Spider-Man for always being in the way and making him seem like a fool when he worked at Ravencroft. Spider-Man barely manages a victory and lands the final blow, knocking Toomes unconscious before he can explain himself. A weak Spider-Man yells out "Are you alright Mr Osborn?" and Green Goblin replies "I am now Mr. Parker." with a smile. "You're my hero. Only if my son had such productive after school activities. I might actually not get sick at the sight of him." Peter stands there in shock for a second and Goblin takes advantage of this and begins to mercilessly beat Spider-Man until he is on the brink of death. But Norman stops and gives him the "stop being a superhero or I will kill everyone you love" ultimatum. Goblin summons his glider and flies away laughing. He says "The choice is yours!" Ravencroft arrives and takes the Vulture into custody.

The next day, Peter isn't sure of weither he should be Spider-Man anymore or weither or not he should tell Harry that a hulking, green monster claimed to be his father, beat him up, and flew out of the window on a glider. He talks to Gwen about it and she isn't really sure either. The conversation ends with Peter coming to the conclusion that while he can't put those he loves in this kind of danger he can't live in fear of the Goblin and let the city suffer. Peter tells Gwen to go straight home after classes.

When Peter gets to his apartment, he sees that the Daily Bugle News is reporting that Osborn's gang have hostages and a bomb that is powerful enough to take out three city blocks in Manhattan. It's time for Spider-Man to choose. Peter calls Aunt May, calls Gwen, and suits up.

Spider-Man arrives at the scene and another battle breaks out as it's Spider-Man vs. nearly every gang member in the city and to make things worse, this time, the gang members inject themselves with a light dose of Oz (given to them by their boss) and it gives them all super strength and a deformed appearance. Spider-Man desperately fights his way to the building with the bomb. As he gets close to the bomb, the scene flashes to Gwen sitting in her room watching the news. She hears a knock on the door and Norman Osborn says something like "Ms. Stacy, it's time for your promotion." (assuming she still works for Oscorp by TASM3). We flash back to Peter as he gets to the bomb. Only, there is no bomb. To Peter's surprise there is only a note in a huge steel jack o' lantern that says "Where's Gwen?" Panicking, Peter swings quickly to Gwen's Place only to find a note that says "Try again" Spider-Man climbs out of the window just as a helicopter flies by. It's destination is the George Washington Bridge.

As the Goblin sees Spider-Man approaching the bridge on the side of the helicopter he laughs and drops Gwen. Peter dives to save her. He webs the tower of the bridge and webs Gwen. "I'm so sorry," Peter says. "That was way too close." but to his dismay, Gwen doesn't open her eyes. Peter holds her and weeps. From atop the bridge tower the Goblin is having a fit of laughter (here I mean the Joker kind of laughter). "You chose," he says before starting to laugh again. He then summons his glider and escapes again. The next day, Peter mourns the death of Gwen and Spider-Man vows to kill the Green Goblin.

Climax: Peter and the Green Goblin have their final battle and Peter wins. However, despite his anger, he still can't kill Norman. In the end, somehow Norman is responsible for his own death and goes out with more Joker laughter.

At the end there is more mourning both for Gwen and Harry and MJ mourn the loss of Harry's father.

No after credit scene.

TASM4
Then for TASM4 you could either turn Otto into Doc Ock and/or introduce a new villain to add to the soon-to-be sinister six and go from there

wow man thats awesome i think tasm 2 was great but tasm 3 i just didnt like how vulture had 1 fight scene and i didnt find it realistic for spidey to take on 30 gang members all of which are deformed but thats great man reall great what an awesome first post! welcome to the hype brotha! it gave me chills with that fake bomb thing by the way!

^ First, I can see how much effort went into your concept, so good job there.

But truth be told there's really only one piece that I really like that seems fresh, and that's how Doc Ock uses the arms to be able to access Electro for experimentation.

I could see that being used IF Doc Ock is going to be in film 3 and/or 4 (I don't think he will) because they would need to use something else as the reason for the arms than what was used in Spiderman 2.

Look, once you bring Vulture in it just makes sense to go to the Sinister Six (as I've already spelled out). That would have 6 villains in 1-2 stories(though some, like the Black Cat or the Lizard would turn to the good side making the Six less). Many said that's too much, but now with 4 movies instead of 3 this is very doable.

If that is where we are going then we won't have 30 Oz injected thugs (that seems too much like Ironman 3) and we won't have Vulture being against Golbin (that doesn't make a lot of sense since Goblin will be a leader type, so Vulture will likely be an agent for Goblin) and we won't have Toomes' major issue being funding by Oscorp.

By the way (this might be a major piece of evidence), I was looking over set pics and I saw one of Ravencroft with the different rooms/floors, whatever. Here it is below:

the-amazing-spider-man-2-ravencroft.jpg

So take a look at Room S3100...

That's right, Voltage Cells. Now why would you have something like this is a movie where the main bad guy is Electro?

There is no way this room was put on this list for no reason. I think it HAS to be part of the story. This makes me think that Electro will be going to Ravencroft...

I think when it comes to Vulture, IF we will have that character his issue will need to be something very different than funding. Age could be a major issue for some that people can understand, as could revenge. It could be (if the Ravencroft thing holds for Toomes) that he ends up being fired because of something (bad guys escape) that he blames on Spiderman (who got in the way and prevented him from doing his job) or Spiderman, while attempting to stop Electro (who I'm speculating will be going to Ravencroft for those Voltage Cells), will cause problems for Toomes that would lead to him becoming Vulture.

I think you can see the type of issues that would cause a guy to become the Vulture.

Jamie Foxx S310D.

Just realized it's S310D, but that doesn't matter.

What does matter is how Medical Inspection Lock-up is in the same room.

Hmmm.....

What kind of things would likely go into Medical Inspection Lock-Up, so as to be found, used, taken (whatever) when some super powered electricy dude breaks in to the same room for some Voltage Cells?

Also, what happens if the power of these voltage cells are drained?

Would that allow all of the inmates to escape? Is this how Alskei will get away after being put in prison by Spidey?

Will Electro live to possibly be in the Sinister Six?

I'll go on record and say yes.

I'd even go so far as to say they will probably not kill off any villains in this series. As well they shouldn't.

Welcome to the boards, I enjoyed your entrance.

The Toomes/Ravencroft angle was well done on your part. However, I felt as though the thugs with pumpkin heads is a little too cartoonish and similar to TSSM.

I also like your idea of the Goblin playing mind games with Peter, if done properly this could be very effective in displaying the Goblin's intelligence which I thought was lacking in the first Spider-Man.

Nice first post regardless.

Well, in regard to my question of whether Electro would live, looks like Jamie Foxx answered it in a Comic-Con interview with MoviesDotCom. Here is what he had to say...

"We asked Foxx if he'll be doing more than one Spider-Man movie, and he definitely didn't count it out."

Foxx: "I'll put it to you this way: you don't really kill electricity; it just goes to another place. You can shut it off, but it's still somewhere. Look, I'm just happy and humbled to be in this one and hopefully do right by the fans in making Electro someone who has different sides. I want people to feel for him, so that when he does turn into Electro, you want to root for him. Whether he comes back again in another film... you know, so be it."

"When the topic (of the Sinister Six) came up with Foxx, he came right out and championed a Sinister Six movie."

Foxx: "You know, Electro was always tempted by the Sinister Six. So, we'll see."

"When we pressed him on whether we'll see that specific movie, Foxx replied,"

Fox: "Look, stepping away from it, I would like to see something like that. That would make it like, okay, the big guys are coming to play."

Looks more and more like my Sinister Six concept is coming to fruition!!!!!

Do what the 90's series did and have Beck plant actual explosions during his movie set for realistic danger. Have Spidey swoop in and save the day, ruin his career. Yady yady yaddah...

Or they could have Beck as someone who was threatened by a tyrannical figure in a 3rd world country. After being pushed around for so long, he somehow gets the Mysterio gear and uses it to create horrific illusions to torment his tormentors. Implied to be a horrid as the stuff of A Serbian Film. Spider-Man flaunts authority and is just as bad as the tyrants that oppressed Beck. Hence Mysterio hates Spider-Man.

Pumpkin-headed thugs could be referenced with cross-species lackeys whose deformed heads resemble Pumpkinhead's.

In response to Mr. Wooden Alligator, I think the pumpkin heads he's talking about is the same ones in TSSM show. A mask, not a cross-special lackeys.

As far as your idea on Mysterio, I don't think it would work. Why travel all the way to America because of a vigilante allegedly flaunting the police? Besides, it looks as though he helps the police a lot in this movie. Especially after he saves ones life after a car is thrown at him. The police are going to appreciate Spidey after this movie.

I believe that Mysterio is a real longshot for a Sinister Six movie if it happens in ASM3 and/or ASM4.

I know he's a fan favorite, but his powers are just so dimensional I can't see him being done well as part of a team-up villain group (in the movies). If he was included in the Sinister Six they would really have to devote a lot of time to his origin, which to me makes so much more sense for him to be some broadway or Vegas illusionist who gets displaced due to street magic, or something like that. In the end he turns to crime, using his illusions as the means. This way he doesn't have to be some super powered being, just an amazing illusionist with a thirst for power and/or money.

Here is my hope:

ASM1: Lizard
ASM2: Electro/Rhino & the Goblin. Death of Gwen at end. Introduce Adrien Toomes and Felicia Hardy.
ASM3: Vulture/Black Cat & more Goblin - forming the Sinister Six (could use Mysterio instead of the Lizard). Introduce Mary Jane (just friends). Introduce Daily Bugle/Betty/Brock/JJJ.
ASM4: The Sinister Six. Black Cat turns and takes out Rhino. The Lizard, who was forced to be part of the Six, turns and takes out Electro (If Mysterio instead of Lizard, then Spidey and Black Cat team up to take down). Spidey takes out the Vulture before fighting Goblin. Goblin dies by his own hand. More Bugle.

ASM5: Doctor Octopus. Symbiote suit (invention of Doc Ock's). Mary Jane and Peter start to fall in love. More Bugle. Focus more on Brock.
ASM6: Symbiote first threat. Maybe some minor villain that helps Peter understand the costume is affecting him (Jackal?). Then Venom. At the end Brock/Venom incarcerated. Piece of the symbiote escapes and joins with fellow criminal, Cletus Cassidy.
ASM7: Maximum Carnage!!!!!

I figured it was masked people as well; the cross-species idea is based on the odds of Green Goblin being a cross-species chimera that resembles a goblin.

I was thinking more that Beck would be approached by men in charge of our unnamed mobster/Big Man's interests in the undisclosed 3rd world country, and become one of the BM's agents in that country. Mysterio would be recalled to NY when Spider-Man becomes a problem for our mobster/BM. In Beck's mind, the police and Spider-Man are conspiring together.

By the time TASM 4 rolls around, Andrew Garfield will be 35. He's not even sure if he'll be in TASM 4 for right now since he signed on for 3. What makes you think he'll be in TASM 7?

Go where no Spider-Man franchise has gone before, a fourth movie, and a Sinister 6 team up on Spidey. The ultimate challenge.

I think the best way to raise the bar for Spider-Man movies and compete with something like The Avengers is a Sinister Six movie.

By the time TASM 4 rolls around, Andrew Garfield will be 35. He's not even sure if he'll be in TASM 4 for right now since he signed on for 3. What makes you think he'll be in TASM 7?

Nothing.

In my opinion, with what Webb & Co. have started to set up, we should be able to replace an actor with another at certain points, yet keep it within the same world that has already been defined.

So what I mean is that Adrew should stay through to ASM4. The current story lines would be concluded by that point. This would include:

- Gwen, their love, her death, his dealing with the guilt, his lust for revenge, and the justice once Goblin is defeated (and likely dead).

- Peters parents, what happened, why, what was done to Peter, his father's relationship with Oscorp, Osborn, etc.

- The Goblin

Effectively, the Amazing Spiderman 5 through say 7 (could be 8) would be fresh storylines, but in the same world, with some of the same actors possibly...

Sure, we're talking about TASM5 in 2020, TASM6 in 2022, TASM7 in 2024 and so on; but that all doesn't matter.

Yes, Andrew can't be Spiderman forever. Yes, Dane Dehaan can't be Harry forever. Yes, Alexis Knapp can't be Mary Jane forever. And yes, Felicity Jones can't be Black Cat forever. But some, like Aunt May, could have the same actress for a while.

The point is that if you go with a 3 or 4 movie in 6 to 8 year concept it's like a reboot, but not. It's a reboot for the acors, ala James Bond, but not for the story.

So what I'm saying is that after the Sinister Six I would like the next trilogy (or quadrology) to be focused on the Symbiote, Venom and Carnage. Since the symbiote is more of a background "character" at first, the movie where the suit is introduced (actually could be TASM4), even the one after, could be focused on other villains without ever acknowledging that the suit is a living, thinking thing.

And if you think about it this just makes sense. If Sony stops making Spiderman movies they lose the rites. They won't allow that to happen. Too much $ in this thing. So just reboot the actors as needed and move on...

I agree with Super Jim. I think the current storyline (parents, Norman Osborn) should resolve after 3-4 movies, but then they could recast the characters and begin a new story arc that still takes place within the same universe. Doesn't it remind you of James Bond? ;)

In the Matt Tolmach interview, they said that they are building a world where supervillains exist and are being planted around TASM2. That way Spidey doesn't fight one new villain for each movie like in the Raimi films (that would be too convenient and repetitive). So there are plenty of stories to tell here, and I'm excited to see where they go with these movies.

Thank you all for welcoming me with open arms. :yay:

Ok my second post (sorry it's so lengthy)

But I noticed that a lot of fans (including myself ) want Mysterio so this a theory for what would be the first in what would hopefully be the second trilogy of Spider-Man movies. This introduces Mysterio and Black Cat (although not as a future member of the Six but as a villain for hire in the background) They would probably have a new cast but would still continue from where the previous trilogy left off and sets up the Sinister Six for the sixth movie.

TASM 4: Norman Osborn is dead. Norman Osborn is dead and according to the Daily Bugle(who was present at the climax but only saw the final battle from a distance) , Spider-Man mercilessly beat and then murdered "a good man who was clearly driven insane by the horrible things that had been happening to his company." He left behind one son, Harry Osborn who is now in charge of running the multi-billion dollar company at the young age of twenty something and he isn't doing a very good job.

Harry Osborn is trying his hardest to live up to his father's name (or what's left of it anyways). He isn't sure what he would do without his friends Mary Jane Watson, Peter Parker (although he has been very distant after Gwen's death a year ago), and the young, intelligent, and beautiful Felicia Hardy. Felicia was Norman's personal assistant and financial advisor and despite her young age she knows her stuff. If it weren't for her advice, Harry and Oscorp would have gone down months ago. Even though she could be a bit overconfident and headstrong, Harry really likes her.

Peter Parker is angry. He's angry at the police, angry at Norman, but more than anything, Peter is angry at himself. It's his fault that Gwen died. He has had the same gruesome nightmare every night since she died. If he had just kept his promise to Captain Stacy, none of this would have happened. He still goes out as Spider-Man of course but he's different. He's reckless, not with the lives of others of course but with his life. He goes out every night in his costume and throws himself into any danger that he can find. He doesn't get much sleep anymore because of the nightmares. He still goes to school and tries to be there for Harry when he can but as long as Peter Parker isn't absolutely needed, Spider-Man patrols the streets of New York in a vain attempt to make sure that no one else dies on his watch but Harry Osborn has different plans for Spider-Man.

Harry is in a board meeting to discuss the new Oscorp-Ravencroft policies but all he can think about is how to avenge his father. He had almost lost him once. It was a miracle that he had managed to cure himself. All of his time spent working on a cure and for what ? For Spider-Man to come along and kill him. His father could've been helped. He could've been saved. Harry was sure of it. Suddenly, someone snaps him out of his daze. Felicia leans over to him and whispers "It's a good deal, we'll take it." Harry stands and says. "It's a good deal, we'll take it. Thank you for your time Dr. Octopus--I mean Octavious." (there is a snicker from the rest of the board and we see Octavious's eye twitch in annoyance.) "Arrogant brat," he whispers as he leaves the room. Harry and Felicia leave together and Harry asks her "So what have you gotten me into now?" Felicia tells Harry that he just agreed to continue to the Oscorp-Ravencroft joint agreement and gave Octavious permission to use Ravencroft as a prison/ research facility from now on (meaning no more Ravencroft police force). So now Oscorp can "keep the city safe," and he has access to all of Ravencroft's prisoner info for his more "questionable endeavours." Harry smiles and the two depart. But not before Harry invites Felicia to dinner the next night. She graciously accepts.

Back at his penthouse, Harry begins to go through his newly-acquired files. He's looking for his revenge. He's looking for the world's next super villain. He finds Quentin Beck.

Quentin Beck was a special-effects wizard and ex-magician who had a promising career in the film industry but he was fired after one of his stunt rigs resulted in the death of nearly everyone on set. He begged for his job back but when his boss wouldn't give him a second chance Beck decided to show him how good he was. No one would hire him so he began working with Dmitri Smerdyakov and Phineas Mason to rob banks. However soon that wasn't enough, Beck wanted revenge. When production on the movie that he had been fired from started up again Beck snuck on set and used a special hallucinogen and gassed the set. Everyone on set began seeing each other differently. They all began seeing monsters. Scared and frightened, they all slaughtered each other. It was a blood bath. No one survived. Even the last woman standing strangled herself to death. He was caught and his partners left him to rot in a cell.

Their conversation would kind of go like this
"I want you to do what you do but bigger," says Harry to Beck. He paid Beck's way out of jail and brought him to his penthouse.

"Why,What's in it for me?"

"You're an actor right, Well I'm going to give you everything you need for your performance. The tech, the drugs, and the biggest stage of all, New York city."

"Ok,What's the catch?"

"I want you to do two things for me," Harry says. He tosses Beck a list of Oscorp's rivals and their banks in NYC. "I want you to rob them empty. I don't care what you do with the money. Just take it from them."

"And what's thing number two?"

Harry smiles. "I want Spider-Man's dead body on my coffee table."

"You really are one messed up kid," Beck replies and shakes Harry's hand.

So Harry has Herman Schultz, an Ravencroft genius who built the Goblin's glider and gear and Ravencroft's flight suit build Mysterio's costume and gear (his look would be that of Ultimate Mysterio) and promises him some of the money that Mysterio steals in return for his genius. While he suits up for the first time, the film cuts to Black Cat talking to a man in the shadows.

"You can expect another one pretty soon boss, he's a magician too" says Cat.

"Good," he replies. "and then there were four."

So blah blah blah stuff happens *Fight scene at a bank where Peter loses and people are killed. Later in the movie, knowing what her employer wants, Black Cat and Spidey meet and she lets it slip that Harry's penthouse is where Beck resides (she makes it seem like he is getting answers out of her). Fight scene at Harry's Penthouse/they take it outside and end up in an aerial battle. Peter learns that Harry has a bounty on Spider-Man's head Mysterio gets away to prepare for the final curtain. Peter sneaks into Oscorp and figures out an antidote to the hallucinogen.

Climax: Spider-Man and Mysterio have their final battle on the George Washington Bridge (during which Peter experiences the death of Gwen again) and after a difficult fight, Spider-Man uses the antidote wins. Ravencroft contains Mysterio and his hidden, stolen money is found and returned.

Resolution: In the fall out of Mysterio Peter comes to the conclusion that he still has a lot to live for and even more to protect. He becomes more open with his aunt and Mary Jane. He decides that he can't tell anyone who he is but that he also has to clear things up with Harry. Harry, although furious that Spider-Man still lives, finds a silver-lining in his new relationship with Felicia (who is just using him and Oscorp/Ravencroft's resources for her employer)

After credit scene: almost like a super villain version of the Iron Man 1 after credit scene with the man in the shadows offering Mysterio a chance to be part of something greater.

TASM5: Dock Ock, Shocker, and more Black Cat (we would also get a look into her origins)

Oh and in response to my first post

Yes I know the pumpkin head thugs thing was a bit silly I wanted a nod to Spectacular but it was poorly executed on my part and the Oz injected thug finale was just lazy writing.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again:

I absolutely hate the idea of having The Sinister Six

A) With Green Goblin as the leader
B) In the fourth movie of the franchise

To me, the perfect way for it to be done is to have it as the 6th movie (which I do believe could happen, considering when Spider-Man 4 was planned, Spider-Man 5 and Spider-Man 6 were also planned short time afterwards), Doc Ock as the leader, and have it be the perfect send off to the series.
