Smallville influences new "Superman/Batman:Apocalypse" animated direct to video movie

I was lucky enough to attend the NYC premiere of S/B:Apocalypse last night. They showed the movie, did a q&a and then was able to meet with a Kevin Conroy (Batman) and Andrea Romano.
In the movie Supes goes back to Smallville and they show the "Welcome to Smallville" sign. And its exactly like the one in Smallville. Also, the Kent farm is very similar. When you see the Kents they look like his parents from Christopher Reeve Superman movies.

By the way. The movie is very good and comes out next Tuesday.

Well The Kryptonian symbols, The "Welcome to Smallville" sign "Cream Corn capital of the World", Kara's attire, the Kent farm & Clark's loft are all Smallville inspired
