Smallville possible spin-offs

Do you mean a Black Canary TV series as well, or have her on the GA show if there was one? Both could happen, but if you have both shows at the same time, and in GA, you have Black Canary for even six episodes, it could be confusing. Then again, Aquaman did the same thing, but AC will only be in 2-3 episodes in 2 seasons. They could definetly have flashbacks on the island. I don't read much comics, but there are certain comics I want to get into.
I dont think Black Canary can hold her own on TV, so she whould have to be in a Green Arrow TV show..

my idea of a Green Arrow TV show is more true to the comics then Smallville but i has to be in the same universe.

So, like a sequel to when he was on Smallville? But his City was Star City I think, or at least not Metropolis, that was Supes city.

alex ross - genius he may be makes black canary look like a transvestite

justin hartley is way to pretty for this woman!!

Yea, the actor is kinda scrawny and whole shows can be heavy. :p :cwink:

Funny. :p

But seriously, I just don't find the character to be interesting enough for his own show. Super superspeed? Whateva.

Give me the Green Arrow with gadgets galore, wealthy, and with a secret identity.

I mentioned my idea for a possible spin off in the "Justice" thread. Basically, I think after Smallville's done, they should do a show called "The Daily Planet" featuring Lois, Jimmy, Chloe and Michael McKean as Perry.

It could chronicle the time between the events of Smallville and when Clark returns to Metropolis as Superman.

The show would focus on the cases that Lois and gang would be working on each week. It could work kind of like the procedurals that are on, except from an investigative reporter's P.O.V.

I'm not sure that show would last, I mean, a show with Lois, Jimmy and Perry without Supes?

Have to agree with ya. Let the Smallville world end with Smallville.

I actually agree with you. They already did a Flash show, and it didn't do so well. To be fair though, the writing for most of it was horrendous.

I would also rather see a Green Arrow spin off.

heres my 3 seson overview over a perfect Green Arrow Series

Seson1: Start the seson of with Ollie returning to Star city after spending a year in metropolis, show his origin story throu flashbacks. He also has a short affari with a woman who just leves him. Ollie meets young Roy harper at the reservation (but not more then just meet him).Ollie meets Dinah Lance. Show ollie investigating a big drugring and the Yakuza). Ollie meets Black Canary on a mission (Shes a smalltime villian) He meets Shado and they kinda work together. little Roy harper catches a crook before ollie and he gives him the nickname Speedy. Sesone finale involving the yakuza and sado shooting Ollie "to be continued"

Seson2: Starts with Ollie waking up under the care of shado (in a daze he sees her dressing..wonder why:P). He discovers that Dinah Lance is Black Canary and convices her to use her power and skills for a good cauce. Lex Luthor tryes to buy Queen Industries. Ollie and Canary has a bit of an on again off again relationship. ollie looses alot of money trying to prevent Lex's takover. the yakuza sends assasins to kill Green Arrow after the problems in seson1 and the start of seson2. Brave Bow dies and Ollie adopts Roy harper. Justice leauge seson finale..

Seson3: Ollie sells Queen industies and starts working more on beeing Green Arrow fulltime. Ollie goes after a serialkiller. His relationship with Black Canary heats up. Mid seson Story arc shows a faild drugbust and Black canary is taken by the drugrunners, she is tortured. it ends with ollie killing the man holding Canary. Ollie suffers mentaly after killing the man, Canary suffers both mentaly and physically after the torture (vocal cords mutilated, loss her ability to have children). Ollie and canary drifts apart. Roy Harper disvovers that ollie is the Green Arrow. Ollie catches the serialkiller, and stands ready til kill him "to be continued"

Thats what i want!

What about seasons 4-5? Sounds good and all, but I'd like a few DC heroes not in Ollie's roster to come in for a cameo. Maybe Superman/Clark, Bruce Wayne, Flash/Impulse, Martian Manhunter tries to recruit him for the League, and Ollie thinks about it, and refuses, for now.

well .. that dosent work well with the fact that he starts the league in smallville (if the rumors are true about the episode justice)

They have to introduce captain marvel "Shazam" in one episode of sSmallville
And since he's just a kid “younger than Clark” turning into a huge macho man of a superhero
It’d be fun to see at least a real superhero with a cape this time on Smallville and more powerful than Clark too (“since he’s still in the process of absorbing more solar energies for his powers until he reach a certain point” )

They can make a spin off out of it because it’ll be about kid in high school and other stuff
And don't forget the whole Billy's family brothers and sister are “Shazam” superheroes too.

i didn't know they were developing a captain marvel movie. i think there is a problem with green lantern being in it as well- which is a shame.

I don't really see any kind of spinoff from Smallville I'd like to see. Would have loved to have seen the Batman TV show that Tim McCanlies was doing. They also had a Starman series in development I really would have liked to see.

Right and K-fed and paris are good singers.

Well, I remember watching Jensen Ackles horrible performance in season 4 of Smallville, but he's amazing in Supernatural. It could very well be the director's fault, another case in point, the Star Wars prequels.

He is good in Supernatural. I thought I read somewhere about a spin-off like show called Reaper, anyone hear of it?

A Flash series would've been great, had it been focused on Barry Allen. It could be like CSI with superpowers (seeing as how he was a forensic scientists guy, correct?). The only problem is that they already did a Flash series with Barry Allen. So maybe they should do a Flash series starring Wally as a teen just getting his powers and Barry ends up dying (do to something that's realistic) and now he has to take up the Flash mantle (it could be like a continuation series of the old Flash show). But then again they are doing a Flash movie and since they're using the 3 main Flashes (Jay, Barry, and Wally), no show.

"Aquaman" aka "Mercy Reef" would've been badass, Especially with Ving Rhames.

I don't know how I feel about a "Green Arrow" series. It would've been a good idea, had he not been turned into Batman with trick arrows for the show (but let's not start that up again).

"Cyborg" would be just cool. Kinda like the black Steve Austin. Great actor, great character. I just hope they have a good enough storyline and not the typical "runaway from the guys in black suits who want to use him for evil" plot.

I'd love to see a green arrow show, he's the coolest superhero off of Smallville so far.
