I too would like to see Tom fly by the screen with a beaming smile to the audience. If it doesn't happen, I'll be okay with it. It doesn't take away from the fun of speculating.

Finally, I disagree that this is a 15-sec worth of nothing. This ain't nothing. This is THE Johns Williams theme. It's SUPERMAN!

If they are allowed to use the Williams material, I would be very happy if they let Louis Febre (show's composer) work his magic at adapting it, as opposed to using it straight off the original Williams soundtrack. I loved what Mark Snow did with that approach from Rosetta onward (the dark spin on the Krypton theme at the end of Exodus is particularly memorable to me) and would be thrilled to hear Febre take on those themes. The guy is talented. Remember the fantastic music during the (virtual) flight in "Collateral"? According to him (over twitter), that cue was a rush job. Amazing.

I completely agree with you and what I'm hoping that the music from here on out sounds more epic, if that makes any sense. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, but I hope the music is more grand, have a choir singing in the background, on a much BIGGER scale than what we are used to. I hope that makes sense.

You know, I was watching the promo again and at the beginning of it, you could hear a helicopter and then people screaming, followed by a world-wide power outage. I wonder if that will play into the Finale at all? A world-wide problem that ultimately plays into him becoming Superman? I know it's a stretch, but it just seems awfully funny that they would put that into the promo if it wasn't going to be involved somehow.

Cool little teaser. But did we need to have a new thread on this when news should been posted in spoilers and/or finale thread. I doubt we will see a silly flyout in space or just a quick tease with the suit.

Really great teaser with great editing...but the one second "superman" quote at the end really wasnt needed and felt kinda awkward, would have been better without it.
