It does seems to be in everything we eat, drink or breathe. However, SHS is universally seen as dangerous, not to mention it's a nasty experience to be around smoke if you are a non-smoker.

Once again, let me reiterate that I think there are a lot of bad habits out there. If someone wants to smoke until they sound like Darth Vader, get so fat they can't walk, go to so many rock concerts that they can't understand a thing you say, etc..that isn't my business. Just don't make other people suffer because of your habit.

At least regular cigarettes won't compromise your judgment. Drugs and alcohol may not be considered more disgusting than tobacco, but they are far more dangerous because they are intoxicants. A few drinks or blunts can mess up one or more lives in a single night.

I'll never lay even a finger on a cigarette. I just can't see the appeal of smoking so often. There's nothing wrong with having a celebratory cigar on a special occasion, not every day.

My mother smokes and refuses to do anything about it. She whines about how little money she has and I've shown her through simple math that she spends at least $300 a month on them + what she drinks which is probably another $120. Her house stinks and has yellow stains everywhere, I can't stand being near her when she smokes, I hate the smell of cigarettes and she has COPD which is a fairly serious lung problem. I try to talk to her about that and her drinking and she whines like a child. I offer to help her by buying her the chewing gum or vapour tube and she just tells me to leave her alone. It's been like that since I was a kid.

I never have, I never will, and I couldn't date someone who smokes regularly either. It is nasty, but there are more disgusting habits out there. Guys, if you pee and you can't aim, then Please SIT down on the seat so it's not a sticky, nasty, digusting place when I come into the washroom.

Oh, and cigars are almost as nasty as cigarettes.

One thing I hate about smokers is their blatant hatred of their environment. Every time I'm in the car and see a smoker in another car throw a cigarette out the window it drives me crazy. Do they not see how rude that is or do they just not care?

being a former smoker, I now HATE any kind of tobacco smoke or any sort of vapor from an e-smoke... and I LOVE it when smokers of anything are inconvenienced by not being allowed to smoke in any building or bar and if they have to go outside any smoke from a distance from the building... GOOD... I'm ECSTATIC when I walk by and hear them b**ching about how it's just not fair that they have no choice about it all... boo hoo and TOUGH... LIVE with it... keep smoking like a chimney and you won't be for long...
