Nachos are the best when watching a movie.
The last time I snuck in food was when I saw Children of Men. I had went to Starbucks right before, and I bought alot of chocolate chip cookies and a macadamian nizzut cookie. Taco Bell is also a great choice of food to sneak in.

I dont know why Theaters are having the snacks at such high prices.Is it to balance out poor attendence?

^ Yes. And No. Snacks are what keep theater chains open. That's how they make the majority of their profits.

We used to sneak scooby snacks into the theater...meaning biscuits from Popeyes.

I'm going to the movies tonight: GrindHouse. And this thread's got me wondering what I should take in??

I'm craving a "double-doozie" from Great American Cookie Factory!

Man, me and my friend WENT TO TOWN last friday at the movies!

We started by getting a large slice of Pepperoni in the food court at Sbarro's. Then I went and purchased the Double Doozie (pictured above) to take in for the second feature. Once we aquired our seats, a third friend saved said seats while we bought goodies: I convinced the guy to buy a #2, which was two large drinks and a large Popcorn. In addition, he bought a giant Pretzel that we shared (w/Yummy Cheddar dip!). And to top things off, I had a moviewatchers card that got us a $1 Gummy Stars. So to recap, I enjoyed:

1 Slice of Pizza
1 Double Doozie (2 Parts M&M Cookie, 1 Part Creamy in-between)
1 Large Coke
1/3 of a Pretzel
1/4 Large Popcorn
1 Bag of Gummy Stars

Mmm....it was one of the most fun I've ever had at the movies!

I tend to agree w/the chomping/listening rule. Normally I'll finish my snack before the movie starts...during the waiting period and/or trailers. In this special case, it wasn't a movie you had to pay real close attention too. But sadly, the second movie was SOOO boring that I started eating my food again to pass the time Luckily, there was still more food to chew on!
