so...anyone watch PRIMEVAL?

Finally. I was wondering when they'd have a T-rex.

Anyway, the finale was cool. Kind of boring, though. The show seemed to reinvent itself as an action show in the second season, what with everyone using guns and being badasses, but this episode was oddly light on action. It was more of a thriller episode, with the scariness of the time-displaced animals roaming the same building as the people.

Eh, it was all right, but I felt like there should've been more. Great cliffhanger, though.

there's also been rumours of dr who and primeval existing in the same universe...

Huh. Aren't they done by different people and owned by different companies and shown on different channels and stuff?

well due to a long forgoteen deal with impossible pictures and the bbc that started with walking with dinosaurs bbc kinda part own primeval since they get resell rights on it:huh:

and bbc wales liked the idea of primeval being in the same universe as torchwood and we all know what road that goes down...

all roads in torchwood lead to unneeded sex, swearing and plot holes...

yes...well i'd rather there be plot holes in jenny's pants if anything but we can;t all have our way, can we?:csad:

jenny exists...

claudia doesn't exist and stephen died but will probably be brought back thanks to annomaly screwing....

Oh yeah, I got Claudia and Jenny mixed up. I miss Claudia. :(

Agreed on Stephen. He's totally coming back.

i half expected at the end an evil stephen to be with helen standing over his grave smiling all evil like...but we got that crappy effect...

I liked the ending. It showed how ****ing nuts Helen is now, abusing the anomalies so much that she's somehow created a clone army of that big ogre from earlier in the season.

it's not really a clone army in the normal clone way...but yeh...also she cloned a guy who proved he was useless quite a lot:huh:

It could be a bunch of actual clones, rather than time-displaced guys. Helen's already shown that there's the typical sci fi tech in the future with those mental control things for the predators.

well apparently we'll see what the future looks like for humans in the next series aswell so i suppose she could have just taken him from a point before he died, cloned him then sent him back...orshe already had the clones, thus why he was pretty much everywhere:huh:

That guy really annoys me for some reason.

Anyway, 13 episodes for the next season? Pretty sweet. I hope they have a story that merits every episode and they haven't just decompressed whatever story they had planned because the show's gotten to be a hit and the broadcaster wanted more episodes.

i don't really think they had that big a plan for this series really since they built up alot of stuff that never actually followed through...but i think they'll atleast try and mess up the anomalies a bit more, and change the idea of creature of the week like 2.6 and the dodo ep from last year...
