If by magic, you mean floating lights, invisibility and teleportation, then no.
If by magic, you mean street magic tricks and bunnies coming out of top-hats, then yes.

Damnit! I'm falling behind trying to read everyone's posts. But what I'm going to say is that magic is not real.

You can't say "hocus pocus" and have your dreams realized.

But I do, however, believe in science. There may be a way, within what we call science, to manipulate reality. Alchemists long ago knew a little bit of science and sometimes tricked people into believing they knew magic. So maybe something like that is possible.

didnt the bible say somthing about when God created everything he also creating a supernaural part of everything? that the world can be bent a certian way to create wormholes or somthing, or am i mixing things up again

Yes, I do.

Most of what I'm about to say has probably already been said, cause I'm too lazy to read the whole thread.

Powers demons can give you, and powers God can give you. w00t.

Also, I believe different forms of energy, which could be controlled, can be considered magic. (Disclaimer: I've been making the following speech defending Harry Potter long before Superman Returns came out.) If you were to travel back in time and show a knight your cell phone or your car, what would they say? They wouldn't say "How, that radio is kickin' rad". They'd call it magic and burn you at a stake. Magic, Radiation, Electricity...it's all the same.

I will not believe in magic until it happens in front of me. :o

I believe anything is possible...we live in a very amazing world

If a person gets chopped in half, I want to walk through both parts, look inside, and feel the severed part. I also would like to be teleported from one room to another.

Then I'll be a believer. :o

Well magic must be real because I thought love was only true in fairy tales. Meant for someone else and not for me. "What's the use of tryin, when all you get is pain?" When I wanted sunshine I got rain!! But then I saw her face, now I'm a believer! Not a trace of doubt in my mind. I'm in love. Ooohahhh, I'm a believer, I couldn't leave her if I tried!

I've cast spells. They were successful. I'd say yes.
Sure, it can happen, but where does the power actually come from?

I like to think there is such thing as magic, but I don't believe in it

I've never been to a magic show but once. No, I don't believe in magic other than illusions. but The Prestige and The Illusionist are coming out and I'm def gonna be watchin

I have more than a few theories as to the origin of the stories of "magic" in most cultures. However, I haven't done any majorly in depth research, so I wouldn't go publishing them for the scientific comunity or anything.

Houdini didn't believe in magic, therefore it can't possibility exist.:o
