So how do you feel about silver surfer... *spoilers*

It's out of continuity, so all of that crap doesn't matter. I hope the Surfer actually dies. Let this be his The End series. Those are usually fun when they don't involve X-Men.

Wasn't that a typical Claremont story: a "The End" story that never actually ends. But on the positive side, it made no sense whatsoever.

Your "positive side" is not a normal positive side...

Did Claremont's last mini for X-Men: The End ever even get published?

Haha. I know what you mean, but it just comes off as...cold.

"I hope that damn Surfer stays dead!"

I can say that nothing will happen, especially with the new Fantastic Four film comming out soon.

Given all of the inconsistencies Varient noted and the fact that it doesn't make any sense whatsoever with the Surfer's post-Annihilation status quo, it seems to be. Granted, it could take place before Annihilation in continuity, but that still leaves the myriad inconsistencies with the status of the Surfer's "skin."

I agree. Pretty much the only way for this to take place before Annihilation and make sense is that Galactus fixes Radd's problem.

And it might make the Surfer more sympathetic to going back to Galactus' side thereafter.

And if there were another retcon where Galactus changed the properties of the Surfer's silver covering before Requiem takes place.

And actually, if they did do that, it would suck.

Granted, Galactus is almost mandatory in a Surfer big story, but for once, I'd like Norrin to NOT run into Galactus in the entirety of the universe for fifteen days.

But they go to the same coffee shops and stuff... it's inevitable.

"Umm... Devourer, what are you doing here?"

"Standing."

"No... I mean here. In the Praxagamoria star station?"

"Nothing."

"Bull**** Galactus. What are you doing here?"

"Galactus' means are not meant for you to know."

"You're f*****g following me, arent you?"

"Never!"

"THEN WHY DO WE KEEP RUNNING INTO EACH OTHER?!"

"I miss you, come back to me. I swear things will change. And I'll never lock you to a single planet again. I was just going through a rough patch. :("

I smell a sitcom. Eh, eh?

If they can make a sitcom out of Geico's cavemen, anything's possible.

I think it's gonna be good.....okay, even I can't say that with a straight face.

I just hope Geico keeps making the commercials. The commercials are great.
