I no longer have to use a syringe twice a day! And this past Saturday I had cake and ice cream and my blood sugar didn't go any higher than 130!!

I'm surprised someone young like you likes the pump. I would think it would be a bit of a drag. But I suppose that the needles can suck too.

What kind of insulin is it? Humilin, bayeda, long lasting...

Humalog. I've had diabetes for 8 years now.. and needles suck. And the diet is even worse. So to 'kinda' get rid of both is nice.

I know kids as young as three on the pump. I've never heard of someone thinking it was a drag.. I mean, it's virtually painless. I guess having to test your blood constantly throughout the day can become a bit of a drag.. hm.
