Sorry....but saying my favorite character appearing in a little seen (it only aired once on national TV) decades old TV movie doesn't mean I get to see that character in a giant budget extravaganza being made by the preeminent comic producing company doesn't work for me.

Then again, with the Kingpin we went from the late Michael Clarke Duncan to Vincent D'Onofrio; and with Ulrich, Joe Pantoliano to Vondie Curtis-Hall. Stranger things have happened

First the Kingpin was John Rhys-Davies and Dare-Devil was Rex Smith....so again, having a character appear in a TV movie is not the same as in a giant theatrical release.

Marvel finally got the rights back to their crown jewel. It would simply be a crime to wait all this time to get Spidey in the MCU and not have it be Peter.

Honestly Miles would make me more excited at this point. We've had FIVE Spider-Man movies in less than fifteen years, spread over two different continuities, and all with PP. I'm not all that interested in seeing "young" Peter yet again (which is the direction that I fully expect Marvel to go with this). Been there done that. Miles as the "younger" Spidey would be much more interesting to me.

If you're going to use Peter, then I'd prefer an older/more stable and established Peter. You know, something different than what we've seen before in the films.
