Homecoming So..... Peter or Miles?

They've already mentioned him in the press release.
The common cinema goer knows who he is, I doubt if many or any know of Miles.

Miles will appear eventually (though I couldn't care less), just as we will see Bucky take over from Cap and other character changes.

Peter Parker is more familiar as Spider-Man to the world... a majority of the viewing public has never even HEARD of Morales or O'Hara...

I could see it temporarily in order to tell a particular story arc. But long term they are going back to Steve again. Marvel isn't stupid.

That's what they'll do. Just like they got a new Bruce Banner. Ruffalo is playing Bruce Banner. Not some new guy.

Miles. It won't be Miles, but I would like it to be.

I've seen five Spider-Man films (including a couple of really excellent ones) and I could use something fresh. I think Miles is an incredibly fun, unique take on Spider-Man and I would love to see him reach a larger audience on a larger stage.

Peter isn't going anywhere, so I have no reason to fear the idea. I enjoy variety. I would enjoy it the same way I enjoyed Superior Spider-Man of Grant Morrison's Batman & Robin. I think it would be reinvigorating for an audience that could be weary after so many Spider-Man films.

I certainly understand those who would prefer Peter, considering that this is a unique opportunity for him to appear in the MCU. That's totally fair.

This, maybe 10-15 years from now (if miles survives that long in the comics) then he can appear.

The universe knows him as Peter Parker, I didn't wait for this miracle to finally happen to have it done by miles morales, an alternate universe spiderman

Yeah, I think that would work. However, given that they want Peter to apparently be in high school again, going that route seems unlikely, at least for a little while, unless they make Miles like, 12 years old.

Peter all the way, but i have a strange feeling it will be Miles.
It will be 3rd Spider-Man in the movies, i bet they will want to change it around and do the unexpected, and what better way to do then a black Spider-Man.
Besides, there aren't that many black superheroes out there.

Yes, SJW are strong nowadays and it looks like superheroes are the next best thing to get them full force.

Besides, Marvel movies are not all that.
Yes, they are good and fun and all, but they pale in comparison to the comic books, which is weird since both are Marvel.
And no, DC is not better in any way or form, an of Steel sucked and Arrow is Batman with a bow and arrow.
