It's a great film. However, I never liked how everyone thought Phantasm was Batman. Batman had been well established in Gotham for a long time and the police just turn on Batman because there is someone dressed in a mask and cape killing people? Never considered someone else was behind the murders in a city filled with psychos dressed in costumes?

I think I might purchase it on dvd though. Anyone know if there is a particular copy that is good to own?
