I am 23, I have noticably thinning hair, and I have resolved NOT to use any products to combat this. I think a pharmecuticals industry that is more interested in getting people laid than curing cancer is not something I want to encourage.

So I guess that it has come to that time in my life.....my hair is kinda thinning, and I really don't want it to...

So I was wondering if anyone used Rogain or the Rogain Foam or any of those other products and if they actually worked....I'm not trying to regrow any new hair or anything (not yet) I'm just hoping to slow the loss of my natural hair.

Also I'm generally one of those guys that likes to keep things in the natural order ond nature blah blah blah and all that....but I just don't wanna lose my hair.

OK so I am a hairdresser first and foremost. I can tell you that short of having hair plugs if you are going bald there is little you can do to get it to grow back only slow down the rate at which your hair falls out...bald is bald you can not fight it.

I started losing my hair when I was 18. Minoxidil only worked for five years then stopped being effective.
And don't even think of trying hair plugs. See Nicholas Cage, he had like three very expensive operations and his hair still looks like crap.
Take the Bruce Willis route, too.

Zoken - blad is very cool....any clients I get with bald issues I just say...hey Bruce Willis can do it so can you. Patrick Stewart is bald and he commands the Enterprise.

Baldness is more of a genetic trait given what I learned in hair school, but yeah bald men are total hunks.

I'm not IT. I'm a CNA. At a prison. I take vitals. I file. That's pretty much it. That is why I have so much free time. I have, what I imagine to be, a fairly average proficiency with computers. I can't make them do anything fancy, but I can open my internet and find where the hell I'm going. These are women who would probably have "Cup-Holder" problems. They aren't wouldn't make what I would call ID10T errors, mostly because they know they don't know.

Most guys by the age of 25 have suffered 'some' hair loss even if it is not apparent to them. Ive seen plenty of guys in my uni that have noticable receded hairline etc.

Most males have their hairline set by their teens. Hair loss takes place between 20 to 25. If you have not lost hair after 25 you will most likely not loose more.

Initially you don't want to ackoledge it, but the sooner you accept it the better you will be.
