[sorry, double post]
Wait, so Morpheus thinks Death is a non-threatening, slightly ridiculous twentysomething with severe albinism who's always happy? What's that say about him?
Honestly, I always thought Gaiman liked Death too much to do anything interesting with her. Emblematic of this problem: She's destined to destroy all life, except for her own, cuz she's awsum.
I think we have to get the real Atlantis back too, though, don't we?Hells yes. I'd also like to see Orin become a bigger player in DC's magical community. Atlantis si pretty damn magical, and is a big part of a few mystical traditions and practices. I could see Doctor Fate types astral projecting themselves to Atlantis for council. If they did that, along with Orin giving the big middle finger to Bruce, Clark, and Steve Trevor by working his magic on Diana, I would be a very happy nerd.
How is it because she's awesome? She's Death. If life exists, she does. If she snuffs all life out, she effectively dies until life comes back.

She's Ginchi, Gnarly, Peachy Keen....
I had a character in the DC RPG flirt with death... literally![]()
Dude, who hasn't? I was originally planning on The Question becoming Death's version of Matthew The Raven.
This was my own character in a pen and paper RPG. His name was Crossbreed, he was a decedent of old man coyote and he had the same abilities as animal man, but with the limitation that he looked like a humaniod version of whatever he was mimicking at the time. If he wanted to fly he would grow wings etc.
That's cool. I still stand by my question of "Dude, who hasn't?"
Who hasn't Flirted with DC's death... oddly enough Thanos. Apparently he only likes the boney types, like Calista Flockheart.
