Is it just me or does soda taste better when it's coming out of a soda fountain that you find at a restaurant/gas station/movie theater, etc. than out of a can or a 2 liter?

its because they make it most of the time, and its got more flavoring and less carbination.

they water the taste of coca cola down to much besides that i'm fine with them

Absolutely not. It's so watered down that I can barely taste the drink. It's like paying $3.50 for 1/3 of a can of Pepsi. I actually get headaches from watered down drinks when they have ice in them.

I never get ice in my fountain drinks. And I can only drink Coke from the fountain. Cherry Coke is the exception, however.

Glass sucks, I'll take a litre bottle of Coke or Pibb that I've frozen to about 33 degrees in the freezer.

I used to prefer pepsi in a small bottle, but I've grown tired of all cola... I only drink it if there's nothing else. It's sad, really. I don't know what to drink anymore. It was Coke, then Pepsi, then Barq's rootbeer, then creme soda, then Orange Crush, and now I'm starting to get sick of that. I'm running out of carbonated things worth drinking :(.

soda fountains taste so much better. i find diet sodas from fountains are the best because they have more flavor and are not as carbonated. canned sodas suck

Fountain soda is gross. It's flat and watered down. I have to drink Diet soda, and when I get it from a fountain it usually isn't diet at all. :cmad:

I thought Soda Fountains did not exist in the USA anymore...

They're talking about the machines in restaurants where you fill your own cup.

But, the old fashioned '50s soda hops do still exist. There's one in my town.

Oh, it's a 'soda hop', not a 'pop hop'? GET YOUR **** STRAIGHT, RUNT!!:cmad:

And yeah, I used to work at one in my hometown.

Hey, in Iowa, back in the day it was called a Soda Fountain. Now everything is called Pop. Apparently in bizarro world, it was Pop in the '50s and now is Soda. Backwards motherf****ers, you all are. :cmad::cmad:

i wish i could quit soda.

i've quit cigarrettes but I can't quit soda...how sad is that?

Same here. I put down the smokes easy as pie, but I can't stop buying the f***ing pop. Pepsi will kill me. :csad:
