Now previously(with my 'Raining Down' script), I did something incredibly stupid. Now, right after I finished and published my 'Raining Down' script to 'ScriptBuddy', I deleted it, imagining that it would still be published to the 'Screenwriter's Community', but no. So, last night, I begun to work on a script for 'Speed 3' with a returning Jack Traven(Keanu Reeves) and Annie Porter(Sandra Bullock). So, considering I had already published my previous script, I deleted the copy of it to write the script for 'Speed 3', and now my 'Raining Down' script is gone, I didn't realize this till this morning and so you can imagine that I'm pretty po'd over this(didn't even send me a written draft of it by my e-mail address). So, all I have left of this previous script are my rough notes, so... that's one good thing about this situation(I'm hoping that they send another copy to the 'Screenwriter's Community' so others can at least read it, which was my only intention for the thing). Anyways, I'm done with 'ScriptBuddy' for a while until I see my script again(which I highly doubt), but if I see it, I'll go back there to write in screenplay format, but now, I just can't stand to look at it, because everytime I do, I keep calling myself an idiot for destroying something that I have worked so hard on. Anyways, enough of me blabbering, here's the first chapter of 'Speed 3':

Chapter 1:

EXT: OUTSIDE APARTMENT BUILDING - DAY

It was outside of an apartment building, when a street thug named, LOU, was climbing up a ladder as he climbed up onto the platform.

LOU
[Pulls out walkie-talkie]
Which floor?...

?
Fifth floor.

LOU looked up at the other platforms, as he stood on the one for the second floor, LOU then began to climb up the fleet of stairs towards the fifth floor. Finally, after a minute of climbing up the stairs, he reached the fifth floor. He then pulled out a chisel as he bent down beside the window and begun to scrap the dried glue off of the window's edge so that he could open it, as he pulled the window up the the top as he crawled in through it, right into the hallway.

LOU
[Holds walkie-talkie near his face]
What number?...

?
"56".

LOU looked around the series of hallways, he didn't spot "56", but he did see "55" when looking to the hallway to his right as he marched towards it, once he was in the section, facing "55", he turned around and right there behind him was "56". He then put the walkie-talkie near his face again.

LOU
[Whispers]
I've found him.

?
Great, LOU. Now go inside, and kill him.

LOU put the walkie-talkie back in his pocket as he then pulled a gun out from the back of his jeans, as he held a firm grip of it in his right hand, as he prepared himself for anything. He then kicked the door right down as it fell back inside the apartment, as it fell right up against the edge of the bed. From LOU's point of view, the apartment was empty. LOU then slowly stepped closer towards the apartment, as finally, one of his feet reached inside the apartment. LOU then swung himself inside the apartment and pointed the gun around both corners, but then suddenly, JACK TRAVEN then knocked the gun out of LOU's hand and swung his fist right up towards LOU's jaw which threw him back into the wall, was he slowly slid along down it, unconsious.

JACK
You lookin' for me, %#&hole?...

Chapter 2:

INT: LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT - DAY

JACK walked into the police department, when suddenly, as he turned a corner into the main room, a surprise celebration was held for him, as his co-workers yelled: "Surprise!"

JACK
What the hell is this? My birthday?...

LT. MCMAHON walked up to JACK with a smile on his face as he shook JACK's hand.

MAC
Congratulations on the promotion, JACK.

JACK
Thanks, but I doubt it'll be the last I see of you guys.

MAC
Yeah, well for better or worse?...

JACK
I'm thinking... "worse". You know I'm always in trouble when it comes to the LAPD.

MAC
Yeah, don't we all know about that?...

JACK exchanged looks with MAC as one of his co-workers handed him a piece of cake on a paper plate.

JACK
NATHAN's still after me, I can see.

MAC
Don't go worrying about NATHAN, JACK.

JACK
Yeah?... Then why the hell did he have someone come to see me this morning?

MAC
To kill you?!...

JACK
[Sarcastic]
No, to send me a happy, %$&#in' "thank you" card for last year.

MAC
We'll find him, JACK.

JACK
Well you're obviously not doing a decent job as of late, are you?

MAC
These kinds of things take time, JACK.

JACK
Look, if you don't find that son of a &!#%&, I'll find that son of a &!#%&, okay?

MAC
Just know we're trying here, JACK.

JACK
I know!... I know...

JACK picked up the fork from his plate and drove it into the piece of cake as he threw the piece he had on it into his mouth.

JACK
It's just so frustrating... knowing that yet again somebody wants to kill me.

MAC
Hey, I know you, JACK. And if I had to promise you one thing, it'd be that he wouldn't get you... because you're just too %$&#in' good, JACK!...

MAC nudged JACK as they both laughed.

MARTIN
Hey, sir!...

MARTIN came running behind LT. MCMAHON and stopped behind him, as MAC turned towards him.

MAC
Yeah, MARTIN?...

MARTIN
We've got some crazy chick on the '110'.

JACK
Speeding?...

MARTIN nodded.

JACK
I'll handle this one, MAC.

JACK patted MAC on the shoulder as he left the room towards the building's exit.

Chapter 3:

EXT: OUTSIDE LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT/PARKING LOT - DAY

JACK raced out of the police department as he then marched towards one of the patrol vehicles. JACK pulled out a key for the car and unlocked the door as he opened it, he then stepped into the vehicle as he sat in the driver's seat and started up the vehicle. JACK then pulled the vehicle out of the parking lot and onto the road as he cut off the traffic on the road and raced straight through the red-light.

EXT: ROUTE 110 - DAY

Along the route, away from JACK was the speeding vehicle, as it drove along the barricade on the left side of the road to avoid the traffic.

Inside the woman's vehicle, the woman was screaming as she repeatedly dropped her foot down to the brake, nothing happened as the vehicle continued to speed along the road.

JACK drove along the barricade as well, avoid the traffic, but JACK's vehicle was on the right side of the road, as he tried to avoid scraping the vehicle up against the wall. Until finally, JACK accidently scraped the vehicle into the barricade.

JACK
%&#$ me...

A FEW MINUTES LATER...
Finally, JACK caught up the speeding vehicle, as he tried to search for a gap in the traffic so he could get to the same side as the vehicle. Finally, JACK found a gap as he quickly raced through it and rammed into the vehicle's rear, as he tried to hold it up against the barricade.

JACK
[Grabs loud-speaker]

Lady, could you please stop the vehicle?!...

WOMAN
I can't! The brake's broken!...

JACK
Double-%$&# me!...

WOMAN
What?!

JACK
Can you please get out of the vehicle then, lady?!...

WOMAN
Alright!...

The woman crawled over to the passenger's seat and opened the door, as JACK continued to hold the vehicle up against the wall as it continued to try and speed forward. Finally, the woman leapt out of the vehicle as she landed on her stomach on the ground. JACK lost focus over the woman, as she wasn't who he was expecting. Suddenly, the woman's vehicle sped out of JACK's grip as it continued to speed along the barricade.

JACK
Christ!...

JACK turned up into the barricade, avoiding the woman as she stepped up from the road and leaned up against the barricade, also avoiding the traffic.

The woman's vehicle then suddenly banged hard into the barricade as it headed towards the traffic coming towards it, where as a big-rig was riding in the vehicle's lane. But right before the two collided, JACK rammed his vehicle into the woman's, forcing it back up against the barricade as he slightly scraped his own vehicle up against the big-rig. JACK again held the woman's vehicle up against the wall as JACK's and the woman's vehicles continued to speed along up against the barricade. JACK then reached under his seat and pulled out a billy-club, as he jammed it between the seat and the accelration. JACK then pulled off his belt as he wrapped it around the steering wheel, once he had it on tight, he then wrapped it around his door handle, forcing the vehicle to continue to stay up against the opposing vehicle. JACK then crawled into the back-seat of his vehicle as he then opened the door, opposite the side his vehicle was ramming into the other vehicle. JACK then kicked the door loose off the hinges as it fell to the road, JACK then leaned out of the vehicle as he reached towards the gas-tank. Finally, after his struggle, he pulled it open as he then tried to un-screw the knob to get the gasoline out of the vehicle. But as he tried doing so, JACK then fell out of the vehicle, finally pulling off the knob as the gasoline from his car ran along the road. JACK rolled away from getting near the gasoline as he then pulled out his gun and pointed it to the line of gasoline, he then fired as flames then erupted, as the flame raced towards JACK's vehicle. Finally hitting where JACK's vehicle then exploded high into the air, as did the woman's, as her vehicle landed straight on it's hood, erupted in flames as it was still trying to go in motion. JACK's finally hit the road, while it was previously sailing high in the air.

JACK
Whoa...

Chapter 4:

INT. BAR - NIGHT

JACK and MAC sat each on a stool beside each other in front of the counter to the bar, where the bartender worked behind it.

MAC
[Turns towards JACK]

I just can't believe the $#&% you get yourself in, JACK.

JACK
Funny, because most of the trouble I get into, you're there with me. So you must be involved, somehow.

MAC
Yeah, but there's only one I wasn't there for.

JACK
Today?...

MAC
Try around ten years ago.

JACK
[Turns away from MAC, picks up glass of beer and drinks down a large gulp]
Don't bring that up again, MAC...

MAC
Come on, JACK. We all know you're still looking for her.

JACK
[Quickly turns back towards MAC]
Enough, MAC.

MAC
Alright... but, you do know who she's working for, don't you?...

JACK
She's working for that guy...

MAC
Bringing back those airships from the 30s.

JACK
That's a stupid idea.

MAC
Hey, it'll be a lot more convinent than airplanes, can fit up to thousand people in one.

JACK
You serious?...

MAC
I'm dead serious.

JACK
It's headed to New York, right?...

MAC
Same as you, JACK.

JACK
[Picks up glass of beer]
Well, I suppose I'll be at the press conference tommorrow, then.

JACK drinks another gulp of beer.

MAC
There's a press conference?... Jesus, JACK. How long have you been following this?...

JACK peered over at MAC and raised his eyebrow as he continued to drink from the glass.

Chapter 5:

INT: AIRSHIP PRESS CONFERENCE

ANNIE and JON walked up towards the podium inside the building, which outside, held the airship as it swung slightly back-and-forth with the wind

JON
How could I ever be so crazy enough to book this press conference?

ANNIE
You're fault, JON.

JON
It's always my fault.

JON walked up onto the platform, as ANNIE stood behind the curtain. JON noticed as he raised his arms, questioning ANNIE.

ANNIE
What?...

JON pointed to the podium. ANNIE rolled her eyes as she walked up with him.

JACK entered through the front entrance, as he could see straight in-front of him was ANNIE. He smiled, as he begun to make his way through the crowd.

JON
Ladies and gentlemen, I hate taking the plane. I always feel so... I don't know how to describe it. I just always wished there was an easier way of flying. Well now, we've got it.

JON pointed behind him at the airship which the audience could see through, as the wall was built as a huge, glass window.

JON
A completely re-modeled airship. I remember as a kid, my parents would show me what they remembered from the 30s, when the airships first came. And then later-on, when they fell. I always wanted to be in an airship, and now's my chance, as well as it is your chance.

JON pointed at the audience as he waved his hand around the crowd, pointing at all of them.

JON
Every, single one of you, will be able to re-experience the past, again. Next weekend, the airship will set off with a 1,000 passengers. We will then land in "The Big Apple" itself. And if successful, hundreds more airships will be developed for thousands more people. And soon, airships will replace planes, as the definitive overhead travel.

The audience begun to clap as JACK finally made it to the front-row. He then tried to signal ANNIE, but she didn't notice, as ANNIE and JON walked off the stage together.

JACK
ANNIE!...

ANNIE stopped in her tracks, as JON turned around towards her in confusion.

JON
ANNIE?...

JACK
ANNIE!...

ANNIE walked back out behind the curtain as saw JACK.

ANNIE
JACK?...

ANNIE then ran towards JACK as she then slid along the floor tiles and slid right into JACK as she wrapped her arms around him, JACK then did the same.

JACK
Hi...

ANNIE
Hi...

Chapter 6:

INT: COFFEE SHOP

JACK and ANNIE sat across from each other in-front of a small, round-table as both of their cups of coffee lied in-front of them on cousters.

JACK
I... heard of that guy you were seeing...

JACK looked up at ANNIE who was looking down into her cup of coffee.

JACK
I'm sorry... His name was SHAW, right?...

ANNIE
ALEX SHAW...

JACK nodded as he pick up his cup of coffee and took a sip from it.

ANNIE
I heard you were going to 'The Big Apple', right?...

JACK was frozen as he took his cup away from his face and set it back down on the couster.

JACK
Who told you that?

ANNIE
HERB.

JACK
"HERB"?!...

ANNIE
Oh, wait!... MAC?... Is it-

JACK
Yeah, it's MAC. Don't know where you got "HERB" from though.

ANNIE
His name is: HERB McMAHON, in case you forgot. How'd you not realize that in the first place?

JACK
Never brought it up before.

ANNIE
So you don't know your friend's name?

JACK
I know it!... Well, I know it now...

ANNIE smiled as she picked up from cup and took a sip from it as well.

JACK
I'm sorry...

ANNIE put the cup back down on the table, as it sat next to the couster.

ANNIE
You already apoligized.

JACK
I know but-

JACK caught the man behind ANNIE standing behind the counter pointing at her cup, JACK nodded.

JACK
Might wanna put that back on the couster...

JACK directed ANNIE as she set the cup back on the couster as he told her.

ANNIE
Pretty strict, for a coffee shop.

JACK
Well, you know that weird coffee stain a full cup leaves behind everytime you pick it up, and think that's why they're so strict. Trust me, I just simply placed a cup on my couch for a quick moment and I swear, the stain is still there.

ANNIE
Why didn't you get rid of it.

JACK
I don't know, I was just... never fond of losing things...

ANNIE
That's why we have memories.

JACK
Yeah, but memories don't last forever, really, do they?...

ANNIE
I suppose they don't.

JACK
No, sir.

ANNIE blankly stared at JACK.

JACK
Mam...

ANNIE smirked as JACK picked up his cup of coffee and began to drink it down until it was all gone as he then set it down.

JACK
Done.

ANNIE
Not before me.

ANNIE tilted her cup so JACK could see that it was empty.

JACK
Damn...

JACK smirked at ANNIE as she smiled back at him.

Chapter 7:

EXT: DOWNTOWN - DAY

JACK and ANNIE walk out of the coffee shop, as they continue on up the street along the sidewalk.

JACK
You get your license back yet?

ANNIE
For a while, lost it out long afterwards.

JACK laughs.

JACK
Must've been one hell of a run, how long did it last?

ANNIE
A month.

ANNIE smirks as JACK turns towards her, she looks up at him with the smirk still set across her face.

JACK
You're serious?!...

ANNIE
I'm serious.

JACK
Well... nothing lasts forever, I guess...

ANNIE
No... I guess not...

ANNIE and JACK turned their attention to where they walked as they watched where they stepped.

ANNIE
Can I ask you something?

JACK
Shoot.

ANNIE
Did you choose to move to New York later on because of me?...

JACK turned towards ANNIE and remained speechless for a moment.

JACK
I'm not going to lie to you, ANNIE... but when I found out later on... I became a little more enthusiastic about moving.

ANNIE
Took you were "over me"...

JACK looked away from ANNIE.

JACK
That was before... work problems... I just became so frustrated with everyone...

ANNIE
That's why I we can't be together, JACK...

JACK looks at ANNIE again.

ANNIE
It never works out...

JACK
We can try again... can't we?...

ANNIE
I'm... I'm afraid, JACK... Of how it may turn out...

JACK
"How it may turn out"?...

ANNIE
You're a cop, JACK. People die everyday with an occupation like that.

JACK and ANNIE turned towards each other.

JACK
Ain't dead yet... am I?...

ANNIE didn't reply as she slightly raised her eyebrow.
