Spider-Man 2.1 additional scenes revealed

I just saw it, and I liked most of the extensions. The weakest ones were the extended doctor visit and the new elevator scene (though it was kind of funny). The extended battles, the Jameson in the Spidey suit, and extended birthday scene were all great additions.

If you have the DVD, can you put those scenes on Youtube?

picked up my copy yesterday, and the scenes do add well to the movie, and I definetly would recommened it. It's now the definative version of SM2. My favorite new scene is actually one I thought I wouldn't like, and that's when Jameson puts on the spidey costume. I'd love to post these on youtube, but I still have the internet with the hand crank.

Bare in mind that no-one (except the marketing dept) is saying this is the definitive or even superior version of Spidey 2. Not even Raimi. His proper version is the original. 2.1 is simply there to make more cash, it's not an artistic pursuit.

I am as excited as anyone else, mind you.

Although stuff like the extended fights were planned to be in the original to begin with.

Hey guys,
I just purchased the dvd last week and i must say theirs verry little difference between this and the original, that is the only good scenes were probablly j jonah jameson who made me laugh so hard wearing the spider-man suit. The dvd itself hasnt really got that many addition features besides and extra commentary and a shorten version of the look at spider-man 3 which was aired last year with spider-man 2. I dont really recommend it unless u dont own the original one Or u just really really want to see j jonah in a spider-man suit which il post for everyone i just need to figure out out to take a snapshot off a media player as it doesnt seem to work. ANY suggestions?

Hang on a second, J.J.J. in the Spider-man suit? Please tell me someone has a screen cap of this!!

For the love of God tell me some one does! Oh, and if you do could you please post it.

You know, yesterday I decided I wasn't going to get this....that is, until I see the screencaps of Jameson in the Spidey outfit. That pretty much sold me, right there.

That's just beautiful....

Lol, I already submitted this link to Superherohype a few days ago (when the forum was down for maintenance), but they never posted it. Too bad, those are great pics imo!

Can anyone *translate* the above link's synopsis'?

I'm not fluent in that language, i'm afraid.

I can read it (it's German), but since it's so much I'm not gonna bother with it. Hope you don't mind. There's a description with every new scene, explaning what happens and how long the new scene plays.

Fellas,

I went to Wallyworld to see if they have it, since several forums have stated that they put them out today, and indeed they did have so, I couldn't resist.

I'm only seven minutes in but I think this might be the version I only watch on DVD (until the Blu-Ray version) hits because they remastered this bad boy and it looks much better than the previous DVD release. I mean, there is a difference. To my eye, they took alot of the grain out of it....

Something just occurred to me...

This remastering of the image was probably done to get ready for the eventual Blu-Ray release of the Spider-Man films. I mean, transfering these films to DVD has gotten so much better since the release of the 2004 DVD. But, it just seems interesting to me that this film has a new look for this release and with the impending release of these films on Blu-Ray sometime in the fall....

That's good news. I hope they have touched it up a bit. If they have, some of the special fx shots should look even better.

They do look better. After an hour in, I like this cut much better. This stuff I don't like was already in the theatrical version.

To be honest, it's a toss up which elevator scene is the best. It doesn't matter either way....
