Two questions... things that have been bugging me...

How do you slingshot in the free roam world? I know you do it in some cineractive missions, but can you CHOOSE to do it.

And secondly, can you wall jump like you could in SM2 and USM? When you lean against a building while falling, spidey puts his feet on it, like he did in the others, like he's preparing to do a wall jump but when you press the jump button, nothing happens...

By the way, screw you negative dudes... this is the best spidey game ever... I actually got into an argument with the guy at EB games when I bought it, who said it was crap and tried to tell me that Super-Man Returns was a better game. Lol... Yeah maybe it is a better game... NOT (Forgive Borat Impression)

i agree, this game rocks...and the more i get familiar with the swinging, the better it feels. the figthing is incredible!! graphics are awesome!!

and no, the slingshot can't be done whenever you want to.

For those asking about where did I hear the Spider-Man Friend or Foe thing from, I bought the PS3 and PS2 versions of the game. It's on the back of the manual for the PS2 version of the game. That's all it said and gave a website that I'm still not able to access- for some reason... but, it definitely sounds like the first promo for our trilogy game coming out and it's definitely new and not just a repack of all the games in one, since it said a "new" twist on the movies.

For the dude asking how to beat the lizard, yep- the lizard threw me around like a rag doll as well. Nothing to say just, follow the instructions and hit that X repeatedly as FAST AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN!!! That's the only way dude, the Lizard is tough.

thats how i did it. it took me 4 times to beat him because i kept trying to do all these fancy moves on him and super attacks...they don't work on him, he's too tough. x is the way to go

Man this game is really fun better then the second more funner and way bigger. The swinging is fun but i can't fight for crap!!! Right now i am in the Sewers

I don't know if this has been posted yet but when you got Spiderman 3 Game did you ever look at the back of the booklet that is is inside the Videogame cover??

Well i was looking at the booklet and saw that the Next Spidey game will not be Spiderman Trilogy but Spiderman Friend of Foe what do you guys think of that?

Iv been playing the game for a while now, and the reviews are just plain wrong. Iv never seen reviewers f**k up a review this bad. The ONLY complaint i really have is that i think the slinging is just slack, not very good.

Also, i just fought Sandman for the first time, got the black suit and everything, but there was no setup scene? I never fought him in the red suit before fighting him with the symbiote. Is this right, or did i miss like a mission or something? It just seems as if the game expects you to know that Marko was ur uncles killer. I'm playing on the 360.

No, they skipped that scene- which doesn't make sense. Could have at least made it a cinematical.

I don't understand how this game is so good. For me, it sucks. The New Goblin is impossible. I can't beat the second Apocalypse mission. This whole game is really pissing me off and I think I might return it.

I personally love the difficulty setting- it's like continuing playing Spider-Man 2... it just gets harder and harder, but we've already been through a whole game of it- so it's a natural progression. Especially after that final Ock fight, god did I play that ALOT.

But how are kids, who love Spider-Man, supposed to play this? I understand adults need to have fun too, but I personally hate having to do the same mission over and over and over. And I'm pretty good at games, too.

Games don't have to be simple, but when they're this hard, they're not fun. They just piss me off.

There's impossible- Superman Returns.

Then there's a good average difficulty- Spider-Man 3.

Dude, I rarely play games and when I do, for the most part, I suck and I'm still able to do good in the game. It especially helps if you just keep on having fun in the 'world'- upgrading yourself through practicing your web slinging and everything. It's also addictive as hell.

Personally, I'm happy it's not overly kid-friendly... in SM2 my only complaint was that besides the Ock missions it was TOO easy.

I have been upgrading. I've been trying to do Combat Tours (I'm assuming the increase your health?) but the couple I've tried...I also can't do. I don't understand what the hell is wrong with it.

I've been pressing buttons randomly and doing combos...it's just that three ordinary humans can apparently dodge all of Spider-Man's attacks. They're more agile too. I just completed a combat tour, and all I got was a trophy and another combat tour. Horray.

you need to build of your expereince.. try doing crimefighting for a while.. you will get more health and other items to help you much better. that is what I am doing. I found some missions very hard to do.. and some are easy...
the swinging and fighting crime has gotten easier.
specially with crime rate is lower.. the citzens are happy to see you.

so i got my PS2 SPIDERMAN 3 , and well is not that bad, the city does look better on sm2 , is not that detailed. for a second i thought i was in Metropolis from Superman returns game, however with sm3 u can choose to do side missions or not, compared to SR where u either do the mission or the city gets pooped..
im already on Battle royal, this game seems short, then again im in 47% which means i yet have to beat gangs, and find the coins or whatever around the city, which by the way i havent run into one yet..

one thing i do miss is the spiderman 2 swinging , is a lot better imo
with this one u cant shoot weblines with both arms, just one , kinda like Ultimate spiderman.
Times Square, looked nice at nite on sm2, on this one, i havent even found it
yet... either that or it doesnt look the same.. i jumped from the empire state building, and the feeling is not the same either.... oh well ... at least im thankful that PS2 users, got to have a version of sm3 .. cause at first i thought they wouldnt make one..

man this game on ps3 is so amazing. i have so far beaten lizard, the bomb missions, scorpion which was pretty hard(love the minigame) i cant remember who else i beat lol the game is just so full of stuff to do, i havent found any tokens yet tho. right now i just beat the madbomber mission 4 in the factory. that was cool. love the cineractives, there really action packed. this game is damn hard but i like it, its not easy like usm i beat that game the same day. man i love this game, where the hell is the movie storyline tho? i havent even faced sandman yet, all that happened so far was the symbiot attached to me. im at 20 percent completion right now.

Hey I was just wondering if anyone is having the same problems I am having for the game on pc. I installed it and everything but when I click play, the screen goes black and exits out of everything and nothing happens. I figured out that it was because the graphics card your suppose to have requires shader model 3. It never said anything about shader model 3 on the requirements for the game. I've heard that some other people have had this same problem when they got the game.

You can only shoot one web in this game? Why did they downgrade?
