Yeah I agree. Even though Harry was cool, it could have been better to get a playable Green Goblin, but as Norman Osborn. The way he was in the SM1 game was awesome.

I wanted Venom too, I really wonder why they didn't include him as a playable character in this game, cause it would have been the perfect time to do it. They could have even given Eddie Brock a storyline in the game if Venom was playable, like they did with Harry trying out the Golbin suit in SM1.
 
I never even understood the big attraction to playing Venom in Spider-Man games. He does the SAME DAMN THINGS Spider-Man does practically.
 
Who does the same crap that Spider-Man does. He's just a wee bit stronger. Big whoop. I'd rather have playable Sandman and he's not even that interesting a character. There's no point of playable Venom. It's just like playing a different Spider-Man skin in almost EVERY Spider-Man game.

hahaha. I went under a very small bridge in the like.. the stream in the park.. and he killed me! He's one of my favorite boss battles.
 
I just finished beating the game, and now am doing everything with Blacksuited Spidey. I think I can unlock Harry if I beat it or something. At least...I hope I can. I had a blast playing as him while going against the Sandman.

This is making the next-gen version sound even more appealing, being able to have an across the city fight with a guy in the game. :woot:

Sometime I'll go get it, hopefully that bad boy truly will be a decent Spider-man game! One day they may even make a true star of one, that's really worthy of acclaim and praise and replay.
 
I agree with many of the posters that say the Lizard "container" mission is hard. The third one is crazy because the lizards come out in waves and you have to fight them off for 2 minutes or so. If you don't jump, and just stay on the ground and fight them (all the while tapping the Spider Reflex button) then they will all jump on Spidey and not bother much with the container. Then after every few combos, when the meter is full do the ground pound to take out a whole bunch then keep beating down on them. Hope this helps someone out there!

The old place where Gobbie and Spidey fought in Spider-Man 1 isn't there..

Statue of Libbery (Spell check plz) Is there..But kind of looking the wrong direction..
 
Do you get to play with the new goblin in the PC version?
 
aw man.. I got the game yesterday here in europe (so the timezone is different) and I allready played 9,40 hours in total:D. I'm at Kingpin's mission now..

btw, the cover of the ps3 ce is so damn cheap looking imo. I mean.. it's just grey man!
 
He has the ps2.. soo Idk.. But can you guys give me a link to a video of Green Goblin (sp1, as you play as the GG) fighting the other goblin?

Because I read (Ik it's not reliable) on WIKI that:

The Goblin appears in the 2002 Spider-Man video game, based on the Spider-Man film. He was voiced by Willem Dafoe. The game's biggest unlockable, is the ability to play through the game as Harry in the Goblin suit and equipment, apparently featuring a Harry who has discovered his father's Goblin gear and is trying to learn more about his father's plans as the Goblin. Because the levels were designed for Spider-Man, certain levels (Eg, the bell tower level) are harder, while some are far easier (Such as the chase sequences). Levels where Spider-Man fought the Goblin feature a second Goblin with a distorted voice, who claims to have been hired to fight Spider-Man; his true identity is unknown

i don't get this playing as Harry in the first movie game thing. can someone explain what you can do as the green goblin and how it's harry and not norman?

I don't have a video,sorry,and about the suit..It's 100% The same..I have been trying for 8 hours to beat the other Goblin..He's *****ing hard..
