Sequels Spider-Man 4 targeted for 2009/2010

Kraven would do it for the thrill of the hunt. No revenge motive like Venom or need money/help world like Doc Ock or take the threat out like Green Goblin. So Kraven goes with something different while the remaining foes are kinda 'want power and money but they have this power'. Plus Sam loves him some old school 60s Spider-Man.

I think kraven could work. As has been said before, his motives are different and also, his fights with spider-man would be a straight up brawl. Beautiful. Kraven's involvement is easy to work ito a movie that involves the lizard, resulting in a highly entertaining yet profound story, assuming Raimi or any other director involved wih this movie doesn't cock it up.

I dont know why they are moving ahead so soon with this... I smell a Batman all over again... especially since mass cast changes are likely... not thrilled...

Well that is very good news and the Lizard seems like the most obvious choice. If Kraven is hunting him then that makes perfect sense for Spidey to both fight the Lizard and protect while fending of Kraven. An excellent story could come out of that.

2009 is great, but after SM3...there are going to be all kinds of things happening. People quitting (possibly Sam, Tobey, etc.), new people boarding, script writing, etc...so I would say 2010 is a more likely choice.

And for anyone thinking that Superman Returns 2 could actually beat Spidey 4 BO wise, smack yourself 5 times right now.
