Holy crap, you boink a friend? In Brazil guys and girls who are just friends boink eachother? Here, that would be very awkward.

It can be awkward here too, but neither of us want commitment right now - I once did try to date her, but she´s too complicated and high-maintenance. I know you do have the concept of "friends with benefits" in US.

You always have to be thinking about the possible consequences of things like that. Like getting her pregnant when she really isn't ready, which might put a damper on her life... even if she gets an abortion to take care of the "problem." I'm pro-life for many reasons... one being (and hardcore liberals need to consider this), the psychological trauma a woman experiences before, during, or even long after an abortion.

So always use protection unless you're both serious about having a committed relationship, and feel yourselves responsible and financially strong enough to have a child.
