JJJ: "Say, aren't you the kids that've been whackin' off in my tool shed?"

JJJ: "Funny how I choose to dye my mustache and eyebrows but not the rest of my hair."

Happy 500 page anniversary!!:woot: Made it there before the Batman thread did. Good!

^Hahahaha, gotta agree there.:woot:

Thanks! Yeah, these actresses will say they like the "challenge" of playing such a character, yet isn´t it a big part of overcoming a challenge to transcend inhibitions/limitations?

The "Sex!" one is one of my top two or three all-time Simpsons quotes!

JJJ: "Seriously, what the Hell kind of world are we living in where obscure cult characters like V from V For Vendetta & Watchmen get movies and even more obscure cult characters like Hellboy get 2 movies within the span of 4 years but all Wonder Woman, a much more famous character, gets is a bunch of animated appearances, two of them straight to DVD, and one live action TV series?!?!?!?! Answer me, damn it!"

JJJ: "Who was it who dared to talk trash about WALL-E?! Was it you Parker?!"

WALL-E looks overrated to me. I really don't have any interest in it. Because when I heard everyone was raving about Finding Nemo than when I sat down and watched it, I wanted to slit my throat.

Wall-E was pure magic and was one the best movies in the last 15 years....

go see it.....NOW

I tend to agree. I saw FN and hated it(much too cutesy for my taste) and WALL-E gave me the same vibe from the commercials. For me, great Pixar movies begin and end with The Incredibles(I absolutely loved that movie). I don't think I've ever truly loved a G-Rated movie before and very, very few PG movies.

I was very endeared by the isolation of Wall-E, how it must have been to be almost the last sentient being on a desolated Earth, and how they built a charming love story between two characters who don´t even talk. The message about how we´re making this planet a huge garbage can - which is far more serious than looks, plastic takes hundreds of years to decompose and is even more damaging if you burn it - and people turning to hi-tech babies was great as well.

And Thanks, Panthro!

JJJ: Why the hell women think it´s hard to please men?!? We´re simple creatures! We like beer, sports, and vagina! On second thought, forget the beer and sports!

JJJ: Enough b***ing about the absence of the squid in Watchmen!! The point of it is not being a f***ing squid, it´s being a huge global threat that forces countries to put their differences aside and fight together!! That´s what it has to accomplish!!

I agree. FN was so annoying. The Incredibles was awesome though. But Toy Story is still the best.

And yeah, I don't get the appeal in a film where a robot who doesn't talk is alone on a planet with garbage and goes to space where no one can hear you scream and no other robots who can talk. Yeah, I'll get right to watching that. :whatever:

Which is where lies the challenge of making it work, which to me they did beautifully.
