Nice! Some interesting stuff happening in October and some great covers!

Sounds like Spidey/Red Sonja has some connotations to the MTU issue of the past :D

W00Tness! Spidey facing Megatron cover

I might have to pick up that Avengers Initiative now...

Thanks for posting the info!

I'm reading all of those except Spider-Girl, and that Transformers crossover. I really want the Red Sonja one, One More Day, Initiative, and of course Ultimate.

i'm gonna have to pick up ATI#6 it sound's awesome, the vulturions are back, a secret spidey villain, spidey himself shows up... awesome.

It all looks great, especially Spider-Man Family. I love Spidey/Dr. Strange team-ups. And this also has a Man-Wolf back up story as well. YOWZA! :word:

Four metallic arms now instead of three?

The Scarlet Spiders have 4 instead of Peter's 3.

Only 1 issue of OMD for October? Ouch

I'm going to get SSM, USM and Spider-Man Family. The cover sounds fun!

There's no confrontations between them and the real Spidey yet, but it seems they have all Spidey's power

The solicitation for Avengers: The Initiative #7 sounds like it tries to make all Spidey fan buys it. I actualyy don't expect something really important from it

Since there is only one issue of OMD out for October that's all Il be picking up Spidey-wise.

And this also has a Man-Wolf back up story as well. YOWZA! :word:
I wonder if it will be the Stargod version of the Man-Wolf, continuing from his recent appearances in She-Hulk? I can just see them doing a 10 page story of John having to explain his new wolfy career to his dad. :)

I prefer the savage Werewolf version, myself, but i guess there's potentially more that can be done with the Star God version in regards to plotlines.

I know Robert Kirkman has a new wolfman book over at Image, and i thought it was odd that Marvel didnt get him to do a Man-Wolf or Werewolf By Night revival, considering he already writes a few other books for them...

:wow: I really wanna read Transformers in the Marvel world.

The TFs used to be in the Marvel world. I think the original Marvel published TF #2 had Spidey meet Megatron :D

I so gotta hunt that issue down :(

But old comics are normally crap with bad art and worse stories.

It was Tranformers #3... and Spidey had his Black suit on...

:yay:

Old School comics rocks! I love my older issues where it actually feels like you got your money's worth storywise. Sure they might be abit cheesy, but they were also FUN! The only problem with the art back then was the fashion styles of yesteryear :p but other then that, some of the definitive Spidey artists were working on Spidey back then :)

Thanks for correcting me TMOB :)

Agreed. I'll take the Lee/Ditko/Romita stuff over any other era, any day of the week!
