Oh yeah. It's a good book, but i doubt i'll continue with it if/when Spidey leaves...
I'm not talking about Jackpot, I'm talking about the tone of those solicits; sounds like 60's and 70's era comics. One More Day will probably suck, but Brand New Day sounds like a breath of fresh air for the Spidey books.
My theory on Jackpot: MJ receiving powers is part of whatever deal Peter makes. Regardless of what happens to May, Peter knows that her predicament was a result of her being close to Peter. In order to make sure that doesn't happen again, he has Loki/Mephisto/whoever empower MJ so that she can actually fight back if she's ever targeted by one of Peter's enemies.
Actually, Mavel Adventures Spider-Man has been pretty good in the past few months. Peter David has been writing... but Jan. has someone different.LOL. Marvel Adventures sounds hilarious. Venom as a side kick!!!
WIN!!!!
No wonder they feel weird when they say stuff like:
Aloha,
Just like Marvel Team Up v2 &v3. I followed them for a while, but lost interest after Spidey left.

Venom is back ...but says he wants to bury the hatchet with Spider-Man. No, not in his head. But one night "on patrol" with a homicidal maniac as a partner has Spidey wanting to hang up the web-shooters himself!

WHAT IF? SPIDER-MAN VS. WOLVERINE
Written by JEFF PARKER & PAUL TOBIN
Penciled by CLAYTON HENRY
Cover by JOHN ROMITA JR.
Spider-Man is a killer.
In 1987, Peter Parker followed Wolverine to Russia, who was on the trail of a friend working for the KGB. Realizing that the KGB would eventually kill his friend, Wolverine wanted to put her out of her misery. Peter tried to stop him, but accidentally killed the friend instead. Haunted by his actions, Peter fled home into the waiting arms of Mary Jane.
But WHAT IF Peter never went home? WHAT IF the Spider never came out of the cold?

That.... looks.... terrific!
Looks a bit hardcore for aan all ages book
Is this book any good? I never picked it up as I always assumed it's aimed at kids... But I have noticed the Marvel Adventures line getting bigger and bigger
Personally I think that image is pretty silly and comical, thus suiting the younger audience.
Wow...
If Jackpot is MJ... *drool*
I'm liking the New Avengers artist, too! Can't wait for 08!
