No Way Home Spider-Man: No Way Home Spoiler Discussion Thread

On another note - Did anyone else catch who all the multiverse shadow figures were? I definitely recognised Kraven's silhouette but didn't note who the other figures were quick enough.

Daredevil team up is inevitable. There's a reason why they introduced him in this.

Not to mention we've got a bunch of other great NY heroes on the way. Would be totally happy if we saw Spidey grounded as a NY based hero for the next few movies and have them really flesh out MCU New York a bit more.

Also, in regards to all the changing timelines/split reality speculation - My personal theory is that maybe it did change those original timelines which will cause a lot of problems, setting up Multiverse of Madness.

We know from Loki that the TVA isn't necessarily pruning timelines and variants in the same way that they used to and that all the timelines are branches, so I'm willing to bet the outcome of this movie has only added to some of that temporal/reality craziness.

Very eager to hear my theaters audience reaction to Tobey and Andrew today! Thats actually part of my hype.

Not sure it has much to do with a team up. They see a chance for a lawyer cameo and they took it.

Truth be told there are so many team ups spider-man can have that you would be lucky to see most of them before Holland feels he happy to leave the role.

Yea that’s the one thing that sucks about RDJ and Evans retiring. No Reed or Wolverine team-ups.

Liked the movie but i would have preferred if they gave more scenes to sandman and lizard instead of Ned (it was Ned overload in this movie for me).

BTW, how can ned open up portals so easily when Strange had to go through a whole lot of $hit to do that in the first Dr Strange movie ?
I’ve been saying that from the beginning. The sling ring isn’t a lamp where you make a wish. It takes focus and skill.

It feels like he is finally Spiderman, but I despise how they got to this point with a trite memory wipe. Now he has to be reintroduced to everyone again. Has to develop a romance again, and develop friendships again. Has to meet the Avengers again. Future films will have to waste time on him dodging Ned and MJ only for them to inevitably have their lives become entangled again.
You’ve already seen the scripts for the next movies?

This film has alot of plot holes in terms of how characters know certain things. Doc Ock apparently knew Norman killed himself with his glider. but Harry didn't know this in SM3. It wasn't public knowledge. And Andrew's Spider-man knew how max falling into the pool of electric eel. There are quite a few moments like that. probably fine as long as you don't think about it too much.

Sandman referring to spider-man as peter i thought was abit odd too. I dunno whether he knew his name, but i guess it could just about work. I don't get the feeling they were trying to insinuate anything beyond SM3

Thats kind of a MCU thing though. Characters just know everything even though it doesn't make sense they would have this information. I noticed that in Wandervision too where characters just knew stuff they probably shouldn't know.

Just a mild criticism. I can look past it though. The references were nice.

Ock didn't know Norman was killed by his glider. It was Sandman who knew that. He cited the specifics of the deaths of both Norman and Otto. He said it was all over the news. Since Sandman never died he could have been pulled out at any time when the news of Norman's death as the Goblin came out in the wake of Harry's death.

No but he knew Norman was the Green Goblin which he shouldn't as that wasn't public knowledge.

Probably the weirder thing was Electro being there at all. It's even pointed out in the film he didn't know Peter Parker was Spider-Man, "I thought you'd be black."

The part where Peter Parker (Garfield) apologises for being white was hilarious.

That's what's been bugging me. Thought only people who knew Peter was Spidey were dragged through. Electro didn't.

They've done the intro so now they can jump straight in, please!

The Green Goblin was absolutely bat**** crazy in this. The part where Tom was punching him in the face and he was just laughing in his face was an oh crap moment for Tom's Spidey. At that point he knew, you don't mess with the Green Goblin.
He’s always been bat**** crazy but this time he took it to a new level.

All the stuff about Andrew is pumping me up. 8 hours until showtime. I'm as ready as buzzaw.

I didn't like that either. Maybe Peter didn't try to keep the fact that Harry was New Goblin a secret when Spider-Man 3 ended but people shouldn't know that Norman was the original Green Goblin.
