Do we really need a Spider-man respect thread? Sure he's written like ***** half the times these days, but he's had more than his fair share of victories. Multiple Hulk wins, the infamous Firelord fight.... need I say more?

Spider-Man will always have my respect regardles, cause hes the one character that got me into comics as a child. It ain't his fault that he's in the hands of idiots currently. I just tend to ignore the often bull**** writing he undergoes and hope he will comeback in full steam someday soon.

I really don't think Spidey needs a respect thread. He is the man. Besides the butt-kicking he gave Tony, of course we know of the ass whipping he gave Firelord. He made fools of the X-men in Secret Wars. He has battled the likes of Hulk and Juggs without hesitation. There are tons more incredible victories by the webslinger.
