Spectacular Spider-Man and Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man CANCELED!!!

Which is why they should've waited a week to release Avengers Classic.

Seriously, there needs to be only one Avengers title. Having multiple Avengers book just takes away the epicness of being Marvel's premier superhero team. The Avengers aren't the X-Men for crying out loud.

There's only two. And one isn't "officially" an Avengers team. They just like to dream. :o

The only way I'd accept Cable/Deadpool getting canceled is if the next month A solo Deadpool ongoing is released. That be awesome.

Wow, this is surprising. I don't know whether to be happy or sad about that decision. David and Nauck were leaving FNSM anyway. So were Sacasa and Medina. But, damn...cancelled. That's poo.

So no wonder ASM is coming out three times a month then. I just hope that Marvel isn't stupid and has a bunch of scrub writers doing the main core Spider-Man book. Dan Slott. Dan Slott. Dan Slott.

That's all Spider-Man fans want, Marvel. Dan Slott.

Dan Slott.

I'm going to type it out again just so that someone at Marvel, whoever sees these boards, will realize his true awesomeness at writing an ongoing Spider-Man book.

Dan Slott.

Do it.

Dan Slott.

Quesada, you're only goal in life has been to make sure that Dan Slott gets put on ASM. Everything else in your life has been meaningless and stupid. Get to it

Dan Slott.

I don't normally agree with you, but: HELL. YEAH.

If Dan Slott is named writer I probably maybe won't buy it.

You'll be the exception rather than the rule. All I've been seeing both here and on other websites is Dan Slott + Spider-Man = awesome.

No, some people just don't like his writing. I don't care who writes the book, really. Just give me Peter Parker.

Well, I never said I wasn't the exception. Hell, I never said anything besides how I personally felt about it.

I'm wondering if the last issue of Sensational will tie in with the current storyline in ASM. Otherwise, its a mess.

Um, the last issues of Sensational and FNSM will be part of One More Day.

I like Jesus... but he only has one really good book, most of the spin offs really suck :D

Meh, personally I thought "The Da Vinci Code" was kind of overrated.

Or you could drop the comic for that arc and pick it up again with the next one.

How else are they supposed to run a serialized comic series? Just have random arcs that have nothing to do with each other? That works pretty well on team books, but I don't think it'd work with a book built around one character. I want to see that character develop and react to things in his life organically, which kind of necessitates linear arcs.
