Far From Home Spider-Man Sequel General Discussion and Speculation

With the sequel starting to film in July i would think we would get some casting news either this month or early next month. I just want to know who the villain is.

Also, i heard through the grapevine the timeline of this movie takes place before Infinity War. But i doubt it, since it would be interesting to see how Peter deals with what he went through in Infinity War.

Whichever villain and whichever actor they choose needs to be great, because Vulture is now probably my favorite comic book movie villain, and following him up is gonna be hard.

Would definitely push the efforts on the visual/action front for a Spidey flick. Visually, Mysterio could be something we’ve never seen before in a Spidey film.

The "international" stuff we've been hearing about points to Kraven and/or Chameleon imo. Maybe Mysterio could substitute for Chameleon, or be saved for the third film.

My top pick is Mark Hamill. He originally wanted to play Vulture before Michael Keaton signed on, and I think he'd be perfect as Quentin.

I still think Chameleon should be a imposter Spider-Man giving him a bad rep also loving the attention that he gets. Jameson would be given a reason to hate him, because as of now he doesn't.

1 trailer Ant-Man & Wasp style that isn't detailed but gives fans a tease. It should dig into how the villain is starting up[BLACKOUT]No friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, so some villains need to be taking advantage of that. [/BLACKOUT]Then when A4 is out they release the 2nd trailer with more details a week later.

Great choice, but it'd be admittedly jarring to see him as a totally different Marvel villain now that he's seared into all of our minds as Kilgrave.

If the Chameleon is used, I think they should gender-swap him. It's a similar situation to Ghost; both of their M.O.s are to keep an extremely low profile, so it wouldn't matter if the Chameleon were female. My top pick would be Rosamund Pike, she was so creepy in Gone Girl.

keaton was so awesome as Vulture but I seriously believe he would have killed it as Norman Osborn, like he could have just owned that role all day long. If they use Mysterio I think Val Kilmer could do the same as Keaton. Just so long as his diva attitude is no longer an issue. If you could get a Doc Holiday like performance out of him again with Mysterio then that would be awesome. Plus two former Batmen playing Spider-Man villains would be cool. If Kraven is used how would you all feel about his outfit being stolen or something from Wakanda. I know the Director of Panther wanted to use Kraven at one time but was told he couldn’t. Would be a nice connection for the movies
