Well, it's definitely not the worst game I've played but it was pretty crappy.

Yeah! I started the game again after lots of months getting dust, and I couldn't stand playing more than 10 min of that crappy game. It seriously made me realise again that it's one of the worst piece of crap I've ever played and it will probably get dust again for a long long time!

I uninstalled WoS from my PC along time ago. I might donate it to Goodwill or something (since it's impossible to sell PC games offline and I don't feel like going through eBay or Craigslist atm). Maybe someone will like it there.

It wasn't the best game, that's for sure.

Though I think you two are being slightly over the top. I've played through it a few times and some of the missions and gameplay were really fun.

Worst thing was the voice acting and glitches.

I enjoyed WOS quite a bit, moreso than I thought I would at the time I played it. I liked the destruction you could cause while fighting. Not to mention it had some of the best fighting moves I ever saw in a Spider-Man game.

Worst thing for me was the voice acting, glitches, combat, storyline, and how Spider-Man just never felt like Spider-Man. :|

Also, **** that stupid symbiote Electro fight. Seriously, when I noticed the game failed to save AFTER that point, I gave up and uninstalled it as I was REALLY close to being done (but the glitches and boring combat made it more of a chore than something fun and challenging).

I agree with you. Still don't understand you not liking the combat though......it seriously was better than ANY other Spider-Man game.

It just didn't feel fluid to me. I think USM and the first movie game were better in fluidity than WoS.

Plus, Web Strike. Once you learn that, there is NO reason to do anything else.

Sure, you CAN do other things, but why would you? Web Strike and a few punches will win you the game.

EDIT: Another thing about the combat is...why is Luke Cage teaching it to me? That makes NO sense. He doesn't know how the webbing works, he doesn't know how Spider-Man fights. Why is he teaching me? Spider-Man sounded like a prepubescent little girl in WoS but MJ didn't look young so I'm guessing Peter was what..25 maybe? He should know his own attacks by now.

I HATED the Luck Cage thing. Why is Luke Cage telling Spider-man how to fight?

Lol, if Luke Cage was teaching Spider-Man how to use his own abilities then how come we're playing as Spidey to begin with. Luke Cage knew more about Spidey than Spidey knew about himself.

I wasn't expecting much. Brain Reeds wrote the story. Brian Reeds sucks.

Let's not forget Wolverine informing Spidey that his symbiote suit could locate other symbiotes in the vacinity. OK.......how the **** did he know that?

Speaking of USM:

Stumbled across rough draft script we wrote for canceled game ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN 2. Peter & Kitty dating. Nick Fury killed Norman Osborn.

True, but that is the only move from any Spider-Man game that actually made you feel like Spider-Man.

The first movie games combat sucked, go play it again if you have any doubt.

Ultimate was also average and problematic.

The combat in SM1 was eh, but still moved more fluid than SM2, SM3, and WoS.

USM at least let us bounce from target to target like a pinball. You could also bounce from walls to a target..something other games lack.

Hopefully it won't lack in SM:SD.

I finished playing another run of B:AA, I actually found myself wishing I could yank thugs up to me, one by one to beat them down.

...I think I want to play Noir right now. :P

(EDIT: This was outside Arkham, no gargoyles out there. :()

The combat in the first movie game was slightly fluid, due to the fact that most of his attacks were 3 button inputs, so certain moves were made to link with another move thus resulting in a final move. WoS combat wasn't as fluid but he did have a few moves that captured Spidey that being the web-strike, but just that move alone can carry you through the whole game. SM2 had the best combat IMO due to the fact that there was really no limit to the amount of punishment you could put someone through. There were even ways you could exploit some of his attacks which was a plus

LOL

The 3D screenshot is hilarious. It's Sandman swinging a hammer at Spidey who is ready to smash Sandman with a hammer (made of webbing) It looks so weird. Spidey's pose is kinda epic though....

and how Spider-Man is able to construct objects like hammers and what not out of webbing will forever remain a mystery

It's almost time for that new costume.

650 more left.

...Suddenly, 3,500 people before Sep. 7th doesn't seem so impossible. lol

Haha. I really wanna see what it is. Newslad promised something awesome. He better not be lieing :p

I love how Sandman's level looks, with that giant sand tornado there and all. And having to stay off of the sand most of the time is a cool idea.

I wonder if you touch the sand for even a second, you'll get smacked by a tornado and thrown across the level or high into the air and have to web your way back to safety.

Then the places you could land could be few and far between but with various ridges, planks, and structures for you to web from place to place in creative ways. Maybe you touch the ground for a small moment but you're so fast, you outzip the tornado (or whatever) and get to the next few pillars as it sort of follows you for a little bit.

It'd be like the button press section from SM3's sewers..except you're actually doing it yourself and not watching the game do all the cool moves for you.

...Or am I asking too much? :P
